I don't read that much French, but in at least one of the vids he includes someone in the credits for providing buffs (1st vid I think).

Ahh ok, a lot of his buffs were off the Empyrean's though I think.

Yep this sorc plays pretty nicely, good use of debuffs and cc and excellent pet control.

However the only reasons he wins half his fights is not only those lovely spec buffs but mostly because his opponents seem to have such low body resist. Nice use of MoC and purge as well, pretty much iwin buttons vs assasins.

Oh yer and lots of opponents don't seem to sprint after the sorc allowing him to get away, zerkers don't seem to have PF, nor do they have charged items to interupt the sorc when he has made some distance.

Lots of noob opponents but also a well played sorc.

a small group of us middies were trawlling through emain very late last night; probably about 4 or 5am GMT, so there weren't many people around.

at one point the group had split up, and the tanks got wtf pwned by a solo sorc. i can't remember his name, but he absolutely rocked.

i think he killed us all at some point- that lifetap is very nasty!

i was quite chuffed that the last run in we had with him i got a textbook kill- nearsighted him, rooted his pet as it was inc to me, and darkness nuked him, as one of the tanks ran in.

was nice fight, and he rocked.

And yeah, hate the range on nearsight. Purge was down, so I kinda got trounced when the troll either resisted mezz, or purged. Ah well... more next weekend probably

Just watched the 3rd vid with the healing pet, very nice indeed and tbh makes a sorc looks almost overpowered

Such a shame there isn't a spawn near atk, Im guessing the closest spawn is a good 10 min run away from atk?

Funny how a sorc could be so much more powerful with some decent pet spawns in the area they are fighing in.

The closest Empyrean spawn I can think of is by Dun da Behnn although I think these are low-level ones.

There's a much bigger spawn near Dun Scathaig with blue/yellow cons, but that's a fair old run of course

Those of you whining about him being buffed -- shut up. First of all, like Whisperess said, he doesn't have uber special buffs, and in fact, in the third movie he is using the buffs the Empyrean is giving him. Secondly, why the hell bring up the issue about buffs when 90%+ of the opponents you will meet are buffed to the teeth? I never saw anyone point out that Cyclodia or Wittor were buffed in their stealther movies. If you solo as a caster you get /respect from me, buffs or not.

a caster who kills a hero in melee? Do u realize the small amount of damage that hero inflicts? like 50-80 with CS. Last time I checked hero with CS hit for ~500 without crit on af 102 mid chain with resists capped.

he kills low RR, no resists, unbuffed, sucky wpn wearing noobs.

and he's rr8? with everything capped (i guess) and buffed.
with his ubar healing pet.
if it was a thane he was going around and owning everyone with then I might be impressed

~570af, ~1200hp with the empyrean buffs.

The hero is solo, probably unbuffed, debuffed (to about 50str), low-RR, ooe hitting for ~100.

This thread kinda reminds me of the Q3 boards (I`m sure the same is true for CS, UT and stuff, dunno) where people are discussing demos of pro players and the majority of the scrubs are complaining about the poor skills of Z4 there or what a bad play and bad tactics by Lexer here or "no wonder he won, his opponent played like a retard". Always makes me laugh to hear stuff like that from people who´re not even able to score one single frag against those players. This isn´t aimed at anyone here directly... just some quotes here just sound similar.

Anyways... nice vids, fun to watch and nicely played, Sorc being buffed or not, opponents being unbuffed or inexperienced or grey con or whatever.
