So, in the process of building a PC

Been collecting parts off and on for a few months now (usually when I can catch them on sale) - What I have so far (case I have is the black version though), not sure what video card to get, torn between 3 different choices

9070 XT Sapphire Nitro+ - £698
MSI Ventus 5070 Ti - £849
Some variation of 5080 - £10XX

The 9070 XT Sapphire Nitro+ does trade blows with the 5070 Ti in some cases but the 5070 Ti is the faster card overall but is £200-300 more (talking 5-10% difference at most)


5080 was a consideration for future proofing, to stretch it out as long as possible but again is more expensive than the other two cards (10-20% faster than the other two but coming in at £1000 for the cheapest model)

Thoughts?

Get the 5080 if you have the cash. I have the Gigabyte one and it's amazing. There's talk of a Super version sometime in Q3, but with all the stuff happening relating to AI and geopolitics, I wouldn't count on it.

I've got the cash, i've had it put aside for awhile now but i've been quite frugal and been waiting for sales as much as possible but i've nearly got all the parts now so its nearly bite the bullet time for the GPU.
