How are heroes at the moment? Is shield still god mode in solo?
Rangers, how do they fare?
Any dragon raids happen in Hib? Is it still doable with 1.5 groups?
What are the epic quest items like? Any basis for a template?
What SC calc do people use these days? Anyone got a link?

Archer classes rock at the moment. Rangers have gone from being a one trick pony to one of the best farming classes out there.

Rangers are only good for leeching/sniping/etc. They're no good at melee anymore. Solo on a Ranger you'll only kill retards.

Hero's good for solo, but not the best. Much better off with a Champion. Don't expect to get any good groups on a Hero.

I soloed my hero from RR1-RR9 so I know what to expect Though they got a bit boring when shield was (is) so OP.

The question wasn't "omg are rangers teh sex", it was 'how do they fair'? To which I answered they are excellent farmers. And yes, in melee they will 9/10 die to a scout, but that doesn't mean that they are useless or don't excell at other things.

You'll want to level in the Battlegrounds/DF etc

200% xp in there atm.

just go out tutoral keep run over bridge and speak to porter he then put you in mag mell.

They are very wanted. About 8-10 scouts including a guildee were parked at the Dragon all day yesterday farming it. The guildee also excels are farming Labyrinth, can take purples solo and racks up RvR kills too.

Needless to say, with my main as a warden, I'm quite in awe

They may be wanted on DR's but apart from that...

Rangers are PvE gods, just RvR they come totally unstuck.

Back after 2 years break

Hey all, sorry just borrowing the thread to ask a few questions.

I just got back after a 2 years break, had a lvl 50 wiz and armsman on prydwen, but since EU srvers are all dead i thought about trying out the US servers since i missed the game.

I am currently playing the free trial at Alb/lancelot and was wondering if you could recommend any friendly and decent guilds that perhaps could help me getting startet again ?

Also how are things generally, is the whole game RVR/PVP based because you can buy almost evrything with bounty points, or is there still arti raids etc going on?

There are a load of EU Guilds on Devon cluster seems most Alb/Dyvet players restarted on there ask in /region or /advice in the Zones someone will answer you.

As for RvR afraid Albs dominate server with mass Zergs but there loads RP's to be made and lots pug groups roaming from Alb side.Artis and ML are done practically every day also loads dragon raids but afraid these dragon raids are camped by the chinese farmers a lot.

Hey mate, around 2k going by the login stats though I haven't seen many yet, the lower levels are very quiet, as expected.

Can't wait to get back into getting a template sorted

You can do some serious damage with a good set group. When we ran ours it was only half-opted and we still partied like Gary Glitter in a Thai choir.

We having loads fun with our scouts starting to get a nice bad rep as we did on Excal over weekend made over 200k on the friday and saturday but mythic did give an rp increase over that weekend so was helpful lol.

Oh, I was also amazed at how quick it was to get two accounts up and running. surprisingly easy account management page that allows you to have several accounts all under one log in on the website. it took no longer than 5 minutes (+download/install time) to be up and ready to play with main account and buffbut. No flash, no bullshit just ease of use

I couldn't find my old log in details so couldn't access my level 50 mid toons but as I have no intention of playing mid its not a real problem
