Getting bad here in Manchester now, up to a foot deep in places and as usual the roads weren't gritted properly or on time.

You can have all of mine if you want :p

Its nice to see it fall down & watch it settling (that moment at 3am when everything's silent, shapeless drifts and pristine un-walked on snow), but then reality kicks in, treacherous back streets, slippy sidewalks, and really cold in the wind.

I'd take your hot weather over this winter shite all day long

what about snacks? gotta have maltesers. In fact, I think its illegal NOT to have a giant-sized bag of Maltesers when waiting for snow

Quick! Run to the shops in your duvet & buy a bag

no need; I have the never endng snack draw of doom which contains little packs of malteasers, bountys, milky ways, twix's, those chocolate sauce pots with sticks for dunking, pots of mixed seeds and a few packets of quavers.

if we gets snowed in i'll be good for about 4 months.

Veggie supermarket not too far from me sells caramel and hazelnut ones, they are lovely but the price is just silly because posh people shop there. At Lidl they are between £1-£1.50 depending on the time of year which is a bargain.

lol after having my laptop on all day turned it off about 23:00, watched some TV was just about to go to sleep about 12:30 and there was a commotion out side so went for look and the whole road is covered in a thick layer of beautiful snow...just opposite my house if the law courts and someone had written TWAT in the snow with an arrow pointing to the courts in 10ft letters...

MY neighbour from upstairs comes back and she's been after snow for ages so I went for a chat with her and said "did you see the giant twat in the snow?!" and se says (no word of a lie) "Oh yeah, he's scottish" I looked a bit puzzled and she added "can't believe someone would wear shorts in this weather!" so I go to the window to show her and theres the twat written in the snow which she'd not noticed and theres a guy on the other side of the road in shorts LOOL

You crack me up
AND I have a maltesers advent calendar this year -they have become my chocolate of choice and there is a little joke in each window. Get one -you would love it.
All schools closed for us (Yay) -Must be bad though because the teachers normally have to go in for shovelling and we dont even have to do that today. Ed is the only one, I know who has ventured out today. He is still alive atm. Nutter.

Na mate, same PC. Can't be bothered to play DAoC anymore. Seems the guild is dead too?!

Been playing WoW.

They are all playing DAoC, but they all seem to wait for the guild to be active again, so they can come back. Quite tired of DAoC myself, especially running a guild, might wait for GW2 ;)

I'm working from home today. Couple of hours work this morning then I'm gonna try & roll my first Animist toon (ever). Apparently they take a while to get used to playing

I tried playing one(Only in PvE tho), but I found it so funny to spawn shrooms, which ruined my power to do the pbae stuff, so guildies refused me to play it anymore :(
