I was thinking about this the other day; I may live in Ireland for the rest of my life, but everywhere I go, I'll still convert Kilometers into miles as I'm driving.

I do the opposite in the UK!
Although now that Ive been here for 12 years I don't do it quite so often.

I'll look out for those coconut M&M's. I love chocolate with coconut!

I can do both pretty much, mph/km and cm/feet/inches, Celsius though, never fahrenheit.

Couldn't do km/h in the UK though and vice versa, and when people talk about distance. I still roughly double miles, to get a feel of how far it is, but i'm getting there though. No one would even know the word mile here or feet, let alone say it, so you get use to it.

I use KG now too, haven't used stone in years, even when the UK.

My friend brought me some of your engalish goodies when she visited.

Besides the jelly babies(as per usual), she also brought jelly aliens(which are nice juicy thingies, nomnom) and this orange chocolate ball, that breaks off like pieces of an orange. Real yum.

I have to do a pillage trip to the UK sweet shops.

Though seriously speaking, i need a whole suitcase for jelly babies when i visit.

Had some of one the other day and realised how bad quality the chocolate is. Awful.

I remember enjoying them much more when I was younger, before Kraft bought them out. It could just be psychological (because, y'know, Kraft are cunts), but it's how I remember it.

My Gran used to work at Rowntree's before Nestle bought them out (cunts). Staff used to get free chocolate off the reject pile (a wonky kit-kat, we can't sell that) so whenever she'd visit it was always with boxes full of Kit Kat, Aero, Polo, Fruit Pastilles, Quality Street, Walnut Whips and all the rest. Oddly enough the best she bought was the stuff that wasn't available in the UK but was meant for export only. I never learned the names of them but they were glorious.

I think they should put a spring-loaded base inside the pringles tubes - that way when you tip the tube up you don't get covered in bits

Packaging costs would go through the roof. And you don't have to tip it into your mouth. :p
