Shrouded Isles is the first expansion pack available for Dark Age of Camelot. It extends the storyline of the original game introducing new classes, new races, and three new continents to explore as well as a graphics engine that makes for even more intense game experience. Here is a short list of new features to be found in Shrouded Isles :
- New next generation graphics engine
- All new and dynamic ambient music soundtrack and sound effect management
- Three new continents to explore
- 3 new races (one per realm)
- 6 new character classes (two per realm)

In addition, Shrouded Isles contains many new quests, weapons, armor, monsters, and NPCs. The monsters also benefit from finer scripted behaviors, which make for more “epic” encounters.

Release date : the 21st of February 2003.

And yes as i think US version has a shipping date of the 3rd of Dec 2002.

well i suppose that means a few months of PvP till expansion comes or for those who cant wait, go buy a US copy/expansion and enjoy it early.

21st February is sooner than I was expecting this - heres hoping GOA can meet their targets.

This time round maybe GOAs marketing folks will remember theyve got the UK rights as well - hows about advertising it and maybe even having a few copies in stores so people can buy it! Current players will be happy to order it via Amazon or whoever - but new players are very unlikely to discover it that way.

Nothing new really. Im not sure where I found out but I already thought febuary as the European SI release date was common knowlage?
