Been playing the beta for a few months and I can honstely say that it way off being finished. Its also very naff and I don't usually say that about Beta software as its not the finial version. What could have been so great has fallen a bit flat.

I will keep playing until the Beta end, but at the moment that seem imminent, and premature.

the facts of this game (doac) for me are for going from 5-50 are

tanks use 1 move taunt
mages use 1 move pbaoe (if they aint got that then aoe)
healers use 1 move heal

after that it pvp or sitting around trying to get 2+ groups to do anything good in pve

pvp = gank
pve = to much time sitting around to get some groups together and when u actually get it all set up within half an hour a key class or 2 will log off

if the pve content in this game was any good then tell me why we have in hib at least the FINS LIST?

sorry everyone but they really need to actually put a game in DOAC

heard u can buy u.s and then jump to eu servers later, given that u can only have 1 char per server this is defo viable to play u.s first then enjoy eu later

had a beta account for it, gave it away to realx. the game is about as boring as daoc, the exping is the same (you still have to kill 5646584576257 mobs to get to the higher skills). the skillsystem sucks (to get to the advanced professions you are required to take certain skills, so bye bye freedom of skills). and i cant seem to think of anything in why its better then daoc. well ok, the map system is pretty nice with the waypoints,so you wont get lost too much.

ah well, the game will probably be a succes just because its swg, but im not buying it for sure.

kill stuff with pistol, get pistol exp. train pistol to max -> access to pistoleer (advanced proffession).

max all skills in a profession -> access to master <profession>.

advanced/hybrid professions require that you have mastered between 1 skill and 2 whole base professions.

very good review, and after reading it, no way i'm buying the game, the lack of any permenant mob camps removes a hell of the lot of the buzz of pve
