Should I buy a gamecube?

ffs metroid prime absolute astonishing old skool game -
i have all 3 consoles , xbox ... well .. erm .. dreamcast 2 ? - yeah PZO and Shenmue 2 are great ( Halo being very over rated imho ) but shenmue 2 was out on the dc , and PZO isnt a panzer dragoon rpg.

Ps2 , Get if you like playing through the same over hyped heap 'o shite games , and if you like playing countless yearly re-releases of ea sports utter crappy sims.

Anyone who's anybody will buy a gc (i mean , £130 for controller/console and windwaker is pretty nifty imho ) - and with games Final Fantasy crystal chronicles , metroid prime 2 , and along with the games out now, you cant go wrong.

Saying that , get a ps2 if you want a console you can count on getting games out on time ( but then again , most those games are coming out on other consoles, and/or are just ea sport sims ..

But stay away from xbox ,

mmm yea thats ture, but my point is that i can play games on PS2 on PC as well, i dont need a console for that, i just wanna play maria/zelda ad get the old nintendo-arcade-feeling back ;p

yeah nintendo/microsoft/sony are all working on a sequel to their current console .

You could try a GBA SP , fucking amazing if you ask me - ALL the old zelda/mario games are on that , + some Breath of Fire 1/2 and megaman , u cant go wrong

dunno what the gamecube sequel is , but microsoft = xbox 2
sony = ps3/and a re-vamped ps2 with a hdd in.

pretty sure nintendo will release one though , and hopefully not do a sega and turn 3rd party.

and i wouldnt exactly say , die hard vendetta, resident evil 0 - 4 , metroid prime, eternal darkness, metal gear solid : twin snakes ( even though re released ) and Tales of Syphonia are kiddies games really.

You've just proved my point.

Maybe I was misinformed about the price, but I definitely read £70 somewhere, probably spong since they're on a mission to mis-report as much information as possible.

Either way, it's still going to be a GBA game, looking shite, except stretched out over twenty times the area it normally is. Just like the past Nintendo cash-ins which allowed you to play GB games on your TV, it's useless.

Regarding anotherworld - they are based in Stoke 'on' Trent so i wouldnt think they would ship to over-seas countries ( if you are ) but they have great next day delivery within uk.

and it looks like lik-sang are in the shitter ... getting a law suit via nintendo , as they are trying to stop/stop as much importing happening.

The Gamecube is the very best console out there. Almost every game released is excellent unlike the PS2 or Xbox. i mean WTF has the Xbox and PS2 got to offer other than Halo and GTA?

My brother just bought the new Zelda and it is simply stunning so /swivel to all u losers who think its a console for kids and play some REAL games other than shitty EA sports sims and film spin offs.
