Me and my RL mate are looking at doing some small scale PvP as a duo. He has the DPS so im looking at bringing some support in the way of a tackler or nos.

Any ideas on an ideal ship? Im gallente btw

kk Lots of options for you.

First of all if you're engaging on gates you're going to take sentry fire so you need battlecruisers or really well fitted cruisers.

Bear in mind alot of the fits above will assume perfect or close to fitting skills. So if you haven't got Engineering 5, Electronics 5, Weapons Upgrades 5 Advanced Weapon Upgrades 5 you might struggle.

Also if you haven't got tech2 mods - use tech1 or best named.

Finally. Insure it and don't fly what you can't afford to replace.

39 days to get that Myrmi fit, including weapons/advanced weapons.

good lord.

I wouldn't want to face that 1v1 in a belt that's for sure.

The myrmiddon is a great boat for startup pvp *cough priracy cough cough* as it's got such a brutal tank with very respectable dps.

The small blasters are there primarily to add to your drone dps and kill enemy drones/interceptors. With solid drone skills and bc 4 you should dish out very respectable damage from drones alone.

When you've got that setup and your want to start your life in pvp look for a good non-npc corp to join - one in low sec looking for enthusiastic pilots is good and use them to get a good grounding in pvp. Then you can look for a good 0.0 corp with lots of ops and activity for fun pewpewepw
