an event like this happend outside my uni last week. 2 vs 3.

Tom, a little difference between warning violence and showing someone effectively a video of a murder. Made me feel all tarnished inside.

This country is shite. I've told this story before, but a mate of mine, his wife was six months pregnant. She worked late at night, so a male friend offered to escort her home. Walking back home through a park they bump into a group of two boys and their girlfriends, who refuse to get out of the way. He said "Come on guys, isn't it past your bedtime", and got stabbed three times for it. When the police arrived to take a statement, they knew the boy they were after because he stabbed someone else the month before.

Stabbing someone more than twice should ALWAYS be attempted murder, or murder if they die. Stamping on someone's head more than twice should ALWAYS be the same. No wonder we have escalation, when stabbing someone is effectively treated in law in most cases as just an extension of fighting. Mark Hobson, the guy who murdered his girlfriend, her sister, and an old couple as well, had previously stabbed a love rival five times and been given community service. The legal system has had its teeth removed. Our prisons are full, they have rights, bleh. Build more prisons, have harsher punishments, investigate crimes instead of just cataloguing them so that people don't get away with so much crap that they end up hardened career criminals before they get caught, and then work on rehabilitation within that framework. Thats what galls me about this left wing system, they keep on about how it protects human rights but really it shafts them. People have a right to grow up within a civilised society, and that means enforcing the rules of that society upon them to allow them to grow up civilised. Lax immigration laws allow human slavery to flourish, and lives to be devalued, filthy secrets, hidden out of sight. Lax criminal laws allow people's lives to become meaningless feral messes. Its rubbish.

Scum does not sum though people up. Im sitting watching that video wishing that those 3 would die, but that would be too fitting for them. If I had my way with them they would be begging for death. That video is one of the sickest things I have ever seen.
Worst type of fucking scum they are, run up and jump people they outnumber with a sucker punch and carrying weapon, totally unprovoked attack. They need to suffer, badly.

If you drive like a twat, you 'might' get dragged to court where all you have to say is "I need it to get to work" and you get a fine... the fact that you killed 10 people is irrelevent basically because 'they're already gone'

Unfortunatly now it's gotten so stupid that an eye for an eye is what will be required to bring things back into line because it will get to the stage where 'the great unwashed' demand blood.

In my world, prison would be: 6x10 cell (no window, no chance of getting out then), 2 bunks, 1 bucket (with grease paper bog roll), 1 sink and every crime would carry a stretch, even if it was just 2 days (say for swearing at an officer).

De-sensitised is bullshit, anyone with a good grounding in moral norms and values would know that violence is wrong full stop. Its the parents and the education system that is failing our youth and country today.

My Ethics teacher was telling me about a boy in his GCSE RE Exam sat there for 30 minutes doing nothing, when asked why he wasn't doing anything he replied:

"I don't think its necessary."
