Her hair fell out due to stress, a bit unfair to say she isn't hot. I would still bang a bald Gail Porter over many women tbh. She is actually pretty old as well, maybe mid 30s.

Her b00bs and accent make up for any shortfalls.

I read an article about what happened to her in the guardian - it was pretty depressing :\

Maybe we Scots should start selling you English some nice clean abundant Scottish water.

Aside from that, what many Englishmen fail to understand is that many Scots aren't happy with the Mickey Mouse Scottish Parliament that we've been so graciously given by Westminster. Imagine the corruption and fuckwittery you get in a typical Labour town council and multiply it by 100.... that's the Scottish parliament.

Back to football. I was just wondering if there are any other national football teams in the same situation as Scotland, England, etc.? I can't think of any other countries that are allowed extra teams? There's no Catalan national team for example. Strange.

You're right of course, but then Id be just as happy supporting a British football team, unlike some idiots I expect.
Of course I suppose the only problem might be that a British football team would possibly comprise 10 englishmen and 1 random other, I dunno. Still , it would give us more people to pick from.

ryan giggs wouldn't even get in the team now. it'd just be the english team.

i wouldn't support a british team, because i'm not british. i'm english (and irish).

What kind of a passport do you hold Mank?

An Irish and an English one, or either? :p

... or maybe a British passport?

Amazing as the world gets smaller and europe gets bigger that we constantly want to make smaller and smaller countries :)

You could consider yourself Klingon, or Jedi - but doesn't stop you having a British passport or being British.

The reverse of that is that a lot of Scottish consider their nationality to be Scottish and not as British.

Again, I would ask the same "doesn't say Scottish passport there mate, says British to me". *shrug*

I didn't think you had a passport currently Mank, didn't you hand it to the police just before the start of the world cup :p

I used to love going to murrayfield to watch the rugger - I'd go and support Scotland vs anyone but England. I saw the build up this year to the six nations match vs England and I was honestly shocked. Harking back to a defeat of edward the great - people on the pitch with pikes waving them in rugby player's faces. The atmosphere was incredibly hostile and I thought to myself what on earth has all this rubbish got to do with sport?

It's not just Scotland - I lived in Southern Ireland for a year and they do it too but not with the same intensity.

I think the papers don't help and neither do the BBC. God I hope I'm not the only one who hates the motd team and the BBC sport network in general - jingoistic idiots. You might knock Murdock but Sky are light years ahead in presentation of sports shows and interviewing etc without looking like some patronising self righteous prig

it's not England fans who are arrogant - it's their press - just like the press of most countries. If anyone else here honestly believes we'll win the world cup I'd be amazed. I suspect we'll choke in the quarters or the semis, that's if we get out of the group. We never do well against supposedly 'easy' teams to beat. Sweden love knocking us out of competitions..

cheers

M
