Simple thing with trades -> Trade with people who you trust (known (the good ones, like novamir, eblessair etc.) people work best because they are known throughout the realm already and have a reputation). Another thing is always ask others (ok is hard if you just started for example) if they know this person. And things I do also is first talking with the person about before trading. This usually shows very quickly how someone is. I've traded a lot with other people's on other servers and have to say that I had always the good ones who wanted to trade.

What I do not understand is that GOA does nothing to these kind of things (or is not showing it clearly to the public that they do something about these kind of harassment/trickery). Because it is in a certain way a kind of harassment against another player...

All I can say is: Next time trade with a lower amount first and if he does trade fair you can always ask later again for a trade. Much safer and isn't such a shock to the finance..
