Yeah I know the idiot called Photon.

Saved his ass once, after which he called me leecher. Thanks man. When I yelled for help on a bad pull, he replied:

"let the leecher die".

We made it out of the pull tho, barely breathing in the end

A minute or two later, after asking why he didn't help - a guy comes running. Seems he pulled a train (in Muire). My team was standing on the stairs while Photon and his just as lame buddy Electron were standing in the road that the stairs led to.

That was really nice, as the dude dies the mobs turn on the two idiots. At least they didn't cry for help... had a good /laugh at them.

Those two fancied telling people that they were uber, and that all others were newbs. After which they claimed that they had never died... kthxbye moron.

I have no idea why Silent Death had them in their guild at that point. I would have kicked those sad sobs instantly for behaving like such idiots.

I finally got my money back, yes the entire 1 platinum from the man himself.
i invited photon for a cg, got some witnesses in it to chatlog it(thanks alrindel, malok, freda and vulcan for watching)

Now it's a good and clever thing for photon/xzi/xeqtre to give it back to me, as it was part of the initiate deal!
Now what damage to his popularity has been done, is beyond my control and frankly i don't care...
I've learned my lesson but i think he'll have learned it even more...

I still would like to say to both of them :

Anyway, this isn't about me, its about Xeqtre, who seemed a nice enough person (after all, if you are a moron you don't generally choose a healing class such as bard) so I think people should now forgive and forget.

Well, let's sum up. He stole a platinum from a player who was helpfully powerleveling him, he refused to give it back, he lied about having stolen it, then admitted it while calling his victim "stupid" and saying that it served him right, and then finally a day later under pressure of private messages from dozens of different people, he finally gave the money back, grudgingly, a day after he stole it. He still hasn't admitted that he did anything wrong, on the contrary, he's now complaining that he's being unfairly persecuted, and he says he doesn't understand why people are mad at him "for no reason".

None of this is in dispute. There's no "two sides to every story" uncertainty. He admitted in this thread multiple times that he took the money. So I wouldn't worry too much about his reputation: he has exactly the reputation he earned and deserves.

As for Photons reputation....lol...it don't matter much what kind of reputation he has here becouse it seems that 99% of the peeps he meets think he is a jerk, for some reason maybe? Just read the log posted here and what peeps say about him...says it all.

OK Photon you gave back the money in the end, but that after alot of messing around, and you didn't give them at once as you should have. Food for thought: Photon admitted that he took the money, earlier in this thread. Is he lying too? And the chat log posted here is fake? And the witnesses who confirmed that ultimately he gave the money back?

I honestly have no idea what you are trying to prove with your posts. They don't seem to make any sense, or have any discernable purpose. I think you are saying that DAoC players should have the right to grief and steal without any repercussions or consequences, and it's unfair to them when they are identified, named and shamed - they are just having fun their favourite way. Is that it?

Loconian is a well-trusted and respected member of the Hib community. He has helped me and loads of others on many occasions; he has never behaved in any way to challenge my opinion of him.

Just by the way you have defended yourself in this thread with insults and put me downs, brings me to question your integrity. When faced with numerous posts from others who also have nothing positive to post on interaction with you... I think it safe to say … I have absolutely no reason to believe a word you say.

You’ve got a lot to learn I think about Mass Multi Player Online Role Playing Games … the only reason they are fun is the people you meet and play with every day.

All I want is a please, do they not teach you that in school?

Face up to it, you ripped the man off and you never bothered off your own back to do anything about it, you agreed breifly to a solution and then blew it off cos you didn't want to do it.

A pointer for you, your realm mates are exactly that, it's up to us to help each other and people who behave the way you have is exactly what pulls us all together to do something about it.

You can kid yourself that people are being fooled but why would loconian then harrass you if you offered him the money back?

I've arranged transfers with a lvl 3 myself, lvl indicates nothing if a person has just started here!

I had a 3rd party verify the exhange on mid/pryd then made the hib one myself.

Of course that would be possible but unlike the guy who took the money and claimed he never had it, loco posted proof, sur he could make all that up but that's a lot of trouble to go to.

It was simple, it wasn't about how easy it is to get 1 plat cos he was 50 but because he got ripped off that loco stuck to his guns and did something about it.

Read the chat log again, I think if you take it as is you will find it very enlightning, not to mention all the people that have had problems with him over money/items etc. He hardly has a shining character reference from his other activities either.

Oh and one other thing - it's not about the level of the person it's about their integrity - most people in this game are not shallow enough to think 'oh hes 50 he must be right' or 'oh he's not 50 he must be lying'. 50 = lots of time played not lots of credability.
