Saxo and Gandagorn!!!!

That was officially the worst raid ever, with an even worse lotto.

There was no order to the lotto, with items being lotto'd at random. I mean FFS they tried to lotto the enamel remover 1st.

Items we're goin to ppl who didn't have right class/spec and then in the end Saxo (tho i believe it was Gandagorn using Saxo's account) logs with numerous drops that had still not been lotto'd.

I urge anyone DO NOT GO TO ANY RAID THESE PAIR TRY TO ORGANISE, and shun them at every turn in game.

What a fucking lame raid.

Any competent person (let alone RAID LEADERS) should/does know that lotto order for sidi is:
Weapons - Armour - Jewelry - Other stuff.

Look, a major Sidi raid is so hard to do, and nobody does it right on their first time. Have you ever led a realm Sidi raid? If not you have totally no right to criticise. Guild or even alliance raids don't even come close.

I lead the Fellowship Alliance Sidi raids (60-100 ppl), and lead one of the Saturday open invite raids about a month back (got apoc to 15% and had no whines about the raid).

This wasn't their 1st raid either and correct me if i'm wrong Lox but i didn't see you on todays raid. If you'd experienced it 1st hand you'd know why i'm pissed off. I mean FFS who in their right mind lotto's Weapon Enamel Remover as the 1st item.

The Saturday raids are for the benefit of the realm, hence they're open-invite. If ppl can't handle running the raids, then let someone else who can.

seem to remember teh odd raid you did b4 a while ago wernt the "best" jeeze, give em a break. Everyone needs practice.

If you dont like it tell them, not us, we dont care, unless they actually cheated you out of items or anything.

Well , its prolly my 1-2 post here.

Its not a whine-post, I know saxo has lots of friends and he prolly was tired and extressed due to the raid. I understand it.

But... I was the whole raid playing , since 2 till 6 more or less when i pmed him telling I couldnt be on lotto coz i had to go with my father to the airport (well, i WASNT LEAVING THE RAID) I said to him I would till the end of the raid. I just cant be on lotto, nothing more.


I asked him if Ronago (a guildm8) could lotto instead of me, and he replied to me that he cant coz they didnt want ppl leaving the raid.
It means that I had been playing the whole raid there but i couldnt lotto coz i had to leave the game and they didnt let Ronago to loot.


I asked my bro to playing my char. He was playing till lotto.
He won 2 cleric drops, hauberk and arms, saxo gave it to other person and he said my bro lottoed too late. Ir could be, but two times?. Well maybe was fault of my brother but it dont bother me.

I know it was they first open raid, it was fun, perhaps a bit crazy but it was fun. I cant blame them for it. I only say they could be more flexible with the rules so i was playing 6 hours there and i cant lotto by myself, my bro won 2 drops and he didnt get anything

I know its a game but i spent 6 hours here, 6 hours which could be used to go out with my friends or something like this.

Im not flaming anyone, I only want to know if it was fair or unfair

They said to me that if i just went to his raid i agreed their rules, coz i couldnt lotto if I leave. well:

5. If you release or somthing you are out of the raid. Last raid we did ended in a totaly chaos over 20 wanted some other guy to lotto for em. Now this is over. If you Release and really want to get back in the lotto you must find your own way back to Caer sidi. IF it could be very sadly that some bug make you fell thought the floor etc. You might still be abel to lotto


I didnt release, I was till the ends of the raid, I logged when we had 2 wipeouts saving the raid with the help of 3-4 more clerics (im not saying im uber or something like this, im only saying i wasnt afk and i logged when i should do)
The only thing was i couldnt be on lotto. U said tu me : read our rules in BW, i did , where is the rule where says my m8 cant lotto instaead of me if i cant be on lotto?



Well i lost 1 cleric hauberk and 1 cleric arms when i won, 2º was too late maybe but 1º was in time.

PD : lol, I wasnt tradding my account, I only let my brother play my char, my pc and my account.

Think you're mistaking me for someone else, i pride myself on trying to run the best, most-efficient raids i can. To my knowledge they've all been successful.

Anyway the raid itself isn't what really annoyed me, it was the lotto. I mean come on, how little common sense do u need to lotto drops completely at random when the more sensible and common way is to lotto weapons/armor/jewelery. It pissed off almost everyone on the raid and they still wouldn't change their haphazard syatem even though folks were asking for it.

My one complaint has to be that despite being the only reaver on the raid i was only allowed 1 drop as that was what raid rules said. The other 2 reaver drops were lotted at the end between everybody.

IMO, that violates 2 other raid rules. Firstly that Only people who can use an item can get it (i was only person who could use reaver stuff) Secondly You cant sell stuff, but its obvious that the people who do get the reaver stuff are going to have to sell it as they themselves are not reavers.

I know on my raid there were 2 necros and 6 necro drops. I have the necros 3 drops each. IIRC the same thing happened on Falcors raid.

there where 49 peeps at the raid in start,, 32 in the end.. 16 wanted others to lotto and other shit, becuz they had somthing to do..

to all flamers,, take it easy, tell the complaints to saxo and gandagorn instead of flaming.

MAKE YOUR FUCKING OWN PUBLIC RAID, if u think its so easy.

and to the peeps who dont got the items they wanted, well we are all humans, if u dont learn to forgive and not to flame u need help fast.. In this fine world we got, that is the 1 skill u need the most...

and yeah sorry for the english, but plz do understand saxo and gandagorn just wanted us all to have some fun, they used 3 days on the raid, and with this respond :/

Correct me if i'm wrong, so my guildmate did the whole raid, even being one of a few clerics who saved the raid from 2!! wipeout (lol 2 wipeouts, wth?), and asked u for another guildie to bid in loot instead him, because a MAJOR force (father>>>game), and not only u denied his right arguing an inexistent rule (u dont know even ur own rules....) but when he asked his brother to replace him in lotto you stole 2!! clerics drops whit the excuse of a slow roll (i remember u repeated a whole roll last raid) from him. A bit lame, isn't it?

Maybe it wasn't the best raid in the world but I think that

is a little harsh. There is always a learning curve with these things and criticism like this is never welcome or helpful. Suppose you had fucked up on one of your raids (which have been pretty good so far) you wouldn't be too happy to find someone posting crap like this, would you?

mavo... i said it was a funny raid and im glad to be there.

But i cant prolly handle 100+ ppl so im not making raids. Yes it was their first raid, but i only know ive been there over 6 hours and they didnt let my m8 roll instead of me and they denied me 2 drops i won.

Is it nice? maybe for u but its really anonnoying for me, i feel i wasted this 6 hours coz they laughed at me, and its unfair i think.

And as i said it was a funny raid, thanks for making it, but u should be a bit more honest when ur rules and ur lotto.

Imagine this,, u stand infront of 30-40 peeps who are spamming u in pm with drop stats and so on.. u got 16 peeps telling u that they want some1 else to lotto for them. u need to make lotto ready with 50% afk, u have had a long day, with 50peeps at sidi (with 30-40% afk at all time)... and u make 2 mistakes in the lotto, would u flame that person ?


first mistake was to take the emal first, ,that was changed and put in last spot

2nd mistake not be 100% sure, who could lotto for another becuz there where so many who left.

next time stay to the end, and if u dont got time for that, then dont go to the raid.. i have been to 8 sidi raids atm.. and i got 2 items, and not 1 flame post... lotto where fucked about 5 of the 8 times, and still no flame... accept it and stop this bul...shi...

Get a frikking pen and some paper and write down who's lottoing for who, not that hard!

And just cos you've been to 8 raids where you've gotten 2 drops doesn't mean that Fanta should have his drops taken from him when he did more than some and stayed the whole raid.

Now what was that about one of the leaders logging with drops!?!?!

The only thing to say is ,, next time the rule must be,, complete or get nothing.. to fucking hard if evry just have a urgant call and leave, and telling the leaders who they want to lotto for em..

And i just dont get it, i was at the lotto to, and there was only 1 time where there was some problem with a item (he came to late and made the random 100 to late,, not saxos or gandas fault.

and with like all peeps saying HURRY GET THE FUCK TO WORK.. then its pretty hard to get all of the pms in to write down.. u dont know how many pms u get ,when being a leader ?

make your own raid, if u cant accept at true human failure..

and if the thing about the emal is bugging your ass, then it was changed the same min it was posted that peeps could lotto for it. Honest mistake again, and was won as the last item.

doesn't matter how well you run a raid (though I was hearing things about "suicidal pulling") - it's the lotto people remember.

And this sounds like quite a terrible lotto.

Since Catalina is one of the few people to have run a public Sidi raid without a 10-page long whine thread afterwards... I think you should take the advice to heart.

There was ambiguity around the rules at the start of the raid, the lotto was done in a random and haphazard way and there's allegations that the raid leaders logged before all the items were lottoed - also someone was denied from having anyone else lotto for them because the raid leader would not write it down - that's pretty shoddy.

I'm sorry but as filled with muppets as Albion/Excalibur is it deserves better.]

Edit: incidentally this wasn't their first public raid - they did one on monday - and whilst I'd be more than prepared to accept some things as being "ok its their first go, put it down to a learning experience" - they've been on enough Sidi raids to know what order to lotto things in.

One raid leader logs before lotto has finished, i have a screenie of the remaining leader saying *lame lotto*, *nerf it all*, *i'm leaving* ....and this was before all the drops had been lotto'd. It left lots of ppl sitting there asking *wtf about the tinctures and left over items*

I have, and will continue to lead raids, noone says it's easy but if you can't organise alts lists and ppl who need to leave prematurely, don't lead raids. Never mind the bizarre order the items were lotto'd
