soloers should be immune vs Shears and grapple imo...

now there's a good joke.

actually, I won't say too much about grapple, my experience w/ it is pretty limited, but as for shears, that's still a good joke.

your all missing the point. there enough ghey shit in the game without having classes out there that run around with the intent to sheer you for leech RP.

you roll a shammy or a druid or a cleric for FG rvr. not sheering skirmishers.

oh and shrews, coming from the the guy who has just rerolled "sorc" to the guy who has played ranger from day one. your statement just pwns itself as usual. nice one though (not)

Not really, for me one of the most fun things in the game is to shear stealthers and know they have to go all the way back to their own realm (suicide etc) to rebuff.
If you don't want to be sheared by a certain shear use a charge or roll a class that can buff themselves or don't need buffs at all (Vamp for instance).

Also the joy of MoC shearing a stealth zerg, eventhough you probably die you know you pissed them off hardcore and that makes it all very well worth it.

I dont think you gave a proper reply to what censi wrote. I HIGHLY doubt you actually rolled your cleric just to be able to grief stealthers with buff shears. :p

no tbh he is a pretty good example of one of these dudes. basically an irrellevent player, whos only role is to make the game generally crappier by just fucking the game up for those who are just out to kill some things.

+1 points to him though for being a proud random irrellevent.

Considering Moshi is able to actually solo kill stealthers on cleric says a few things about him tbh. Just because he has fun shearing a stealth zerg (come on, only like 3 solo steatlhers left. Most the others spend at least 50% the time only attacking people they outnumber) doesnt mean he is a random.

From my point of view you could be a random, hiding on a shitty stealther class only fighting battles you know you win, if you losing fire every ability to get away while abusing LOS issues and waterbugs. You generally fuck up the game for those out to kill some things!

The downtime when rebuffing and traveling is such a pain that most people dont attack valks, heretics or duos with shaman/cleric/druids in them.

Aka, buffshears suck.

Nah I just play for fun and yes that's killing all fun for stealthers, less stealthers equals more fun for me so I do everything within the rules to piss them off as much as I can so they will log or roll something else or come back with the zerg (<3 Dwera).
I can also go on how your stealth zergs make the game "crappier" for me but I will just deal with it and carry on.
And if calling me a random makes you sleep better at night then so be it :)

Would you realise that not every stealther is zerging retard? I mean how exactly will you have more fun if you shear my rr2 solo ranger, was I like destroying your fun when I was around?

It might be me, but if your fun in the game is to generally piss off and ruin the fun for another individual, thats pretty sad, isnt it ?

I can actually see the point of shearing people you generally dislike their playstyle (eg. stealthzergers). But if you shear people who generally are pretty honourable, I get a bad taste in my mouth.. Just grieving, except its within the rules of the game..

Can say that about anything though.

Adders greifing
groups greifing by zerging solos
solos greifing by adding on groups
Zergs greifing by running down groups/solos.

They do it to further their own enjoyment but more often then not it at a cost of someone else that has a different playstyle

Honourable? tbh that's a very subjective term and as you might have noticed from my previous post I don't really think any stealther is honourable.
I am sure there's stealthers around that don't attack people that are already in a FG v FG fight but I can't see those now can I? I can only see them if they do "add" or zerg, that's why I cba with stealthers and just put them all in the same corner.
Is that Wrong? maybe though it's the way I play and enjoy the game, Is it griefing? I don't think so but if you do please report it as griefing results into a ban.

Atleast I am giving them a chance to get back, could just aswell log a wiz and nuke them down on sight though I prefer to shear them and smite them to 5% and put CL disease on them, works far better and gets you lots more lovely emotes afterwards :)

Well tbh I found a new pleasure.

Shearing soloers is pretty crap. Well if the grp attacks, might aswell get it over quick so I do it, but more cause I like the funny gfx it gives. Randomly shearing ppl and then leaving them thoug is pretty shit and not funny at all. Tough luck as healer if your group nukes down soloers, but if your group leaves them, don't start shearing. (*)

So about my new fun. Well I discovered it at the bolg tower today. We quickly wanted to take it and suddenly I saw that scout shooting our precious mages. Usually if you hit them they go away but lo and behold, shears don't brake root. So root, then a complete set of shears and done :p It's awesome fun doing that on tower sieges. I hate keeptakes a lot, but at least that's a nice repay for all the archers who make my healing life so hard =))

(*) exceptions are ofc given, like Riderich, Jarvio, Binfil and the likes.

thats just shit behaviour and nothing else tbh, sad to see you seem to enjoy this kindof stuff. You aint much better than Horner or any other jackass when doing things like that imo. Seeing as you also get enjoyment from emotes after your crappy doings you are fully aware of what it is that you do.

First class griefing, didnt really expect it from you. :(

Like I said Shike if you think it's griefing report it as griefing is against the "spirit of the game" you will see GOA will not find this griefing yet using the abilities you have.
And what's bad about getting enjoyment about people emoting you? I find it funny that people get angry over a game which results into them mass emoting you and I get enjoyment out of that.

Cleric - Moshi.

Others are not important unless you want my upcomming Friar's name with who I am going to grapple spam people which is griefing also ofc.

Cleric runs out solo...

Stealther(s) jump cleric...

Will there be an 'honourable' fight?

I'm with Moshi. Nothing as fun as shearing people. Apart from rezzing Roddy ofc.

Yes Moshi is Bad ewul cleric. He isnt suppose to attack the innocent stealthers who are so shy that they have to have their friends along to give them moral support. No his job is to heal his group and if he cant get a group he can stand with a vacant look in his eyes hoping for a group.

Shike before you go for sainthood please tell me why YOU go into rvr if its not to Kill or and annoy the crap out of your enemy within the boundaries of the rules.
DOnt tell other people they smell of Pooh when your the one full of it.

if a soloalb comes running, some stealther is bound to jump him, not all knows its a cleric since clerics arent likely to solo, could be a reaver aswell or something else.

Honourable fight, actually yes, if its one stealther jumping. Its a one vs one in a RVRzone. If one cant hold ones own, then what on earth is that person doing there? A one on one is always a fair fight. Me for example avoid jumping solospecced heavy tanks since they are a pain in the arse to deal with, there are better targets around for sure and I know my limits. Can a fight between me and a heavy tank ever occur? No, since I can see him and he cant see me. A cleric that runs out have to be prepared to be jumped any second. Same for anyone really. If you cant take a fight, dont go there, its stupid not knowing ones limits.

Someone adding on any 1vs1fight is a turd in my book, be it with shears or something else, doesnt really matter. Shearing a survivor from a fight and CLdisease and just leave him be on 5% is just plain retarded and nothing else.

You say there is nothing more fun than to shear people, I thought you was a decent guy, you proved me very wrong too. Shearing people who fights, or just had a fight is just griefing and done for a single reason, to piss someone else off. You want stealthers to treat you the same way, with grief in mind? I thought you seeked fair fights and such.

Uh, I primarily seek fun fights, thats my mainpurpose with RvR. That involves trying to kill others. Annoying the crap out of the enemys within the boundaries of the rules? Wtf? You dont know me at all, and assume I do such things just because I play a nightshade? I dont enjoy griefing at all, on the contrary, I think its disgusting behaviour for little people with too little joy in life. I have never condoned it at all.

And thanks for the personal insult, when you apparently dont know me at all. People like you are just funny :)

Fyi, I think my NS have a pretty solid rep for beeing a fair player that respect my foes, I very seldom ever add and when I do it is always for a reason that outweighs my disliking of adding, it has to be a pretty good reason in other words. I usually leave people alive after they fights, I actually enjoy watching others fights and just give em a /clap and a /hug afterwards. I dont gank greys, I dont play lame and kite just to kill anyone, I aint running from fights even if I clearly am loosing. I always turn down offers of duos or more and I never move in packs with others unless I cant help it in tight areas.

Tell me, what exactly is it about me that is so pooh that made you post what you did?

With that mentality, i take it Arctic Circle doesn't mind adds? Both solo adds and other FGs?

And where did you get the adding part from if I might ask you?
This is about shearing someone and leaving him on low HP I do not see 1 person saying anything about liking to add but that could be me.

Give me a break. I carry around Golden Runed Defender and a Dextera mace. /stats on me will most likely show some amount of hp healed that a reaver would have a hard time to reach.

Why shear some stealther you come across (if he's not killed)? Well, someone who is sheared has to go back for rebuff. That means for five minutes or so they are unlikely to add on a fg fight. Sounds decent.

My attitude on stealthers comes from the fact I get jumped by them in 25% of our fights vs other groups. Sympathy runs out.

As for why shearing is the most fun on cleric is simply because it is the most visible thing and one of the few offensive things we can do. When I manage to get my shears off in between heals I feel like I have utility, which makes it very nice.

And seriously, I rolled cleric to play in a fg. Solo in a rvr zone is me either trying to find my way to the group or to get somewhere safe after a fight gone bad. And I'm betting 100g there are more flames inc now from someone else with a stealther alt.
