Rust in the armour and cracked shields...

I was wondering "how low can you go"?

I got my BD-setup of armour(mostly epic), gems and whatnot already down to 95-90% durability and firstly its boring since that means I soon gotta go the SCed way...I like using the epics. It also means those unique quest items sooner or later will get beyond repair also.

How low durabilty you got on your armour/items? How low can it go before it actually effects the stats?

Maybe it's a good thing that DF Items will get higher then it will maybe be possibly to make a template from TG armour and DT items - just cause I like the look of the epics. (except my thane's) ;)

Dur doesnt affect stats i think? only affects decay rate or something, Con is what affects the stats i think and Dur can go all the way to 0% i think.

Durability makes no difference to stats at all, it's just a measure of how many more times it can be repaired. Durability 0, con 100 will be exactly the same as durability 100, con 100 for stats purposes you just won't be able to repair it any more when the con drops.

Condition will drop as far as 70%, then you won't get magical bonuses from the armour and you'll have crappy armour factor too.

Dur will go down to 0% then con will go down to 70% and the item will have no effect at all. I did it with a ring to test it out

+hp, +pow and Focus still work despite the con/dur of the item, the main problem is though that Focus is based upon the con of the item, meaning a 70% con staff with focus casts spells for 110% instead of the normal 120% or the 80% of a 100% con staff
