The calculation is pretty easy - speed of sound is ~340m/s, 30+ seconds of video before sound hits = min. 10k.

I would have said standard temperature and pressure but it was a quick and dirty calculation.
In the high atmosphere, because of the relative lack of density of the atoms sound propagates more slowly. (Conversely the speed of sound under water is ~1500m/s).
I know this because I almost did a PhD based upon it*.
