+RR10 for grats threads ? Read before vote

Guys its evident with 1.82 the Realm points will be easy to farm, i have np but what about to arrive to one agreement about a requiriment for Grats Threads ? Soon the whole forum will be 19 / 20 Grats threads.

Lets check if this poll get 70 % support and we can try respect the agreement .

Anyhow, what pisses me off mostly is that it promotes leeching. 1 lifetap and 500-600 RP's means Warlocks will still make the same LW-RP :<

For example, 1 life tap on dopi, when he had hardly any health left and its like 500 - 600 points.

Half a kill on someone and its 1100+.

My idol and semi friend furiosito just did 25k in 1 hour with his gank afternoon grp ganking little grps

u get rps for healing and for mezzing and for some more stuff dont remeber

those are a bit ott examples imo, i play merlin an mlf atm an its not so bad

you only get such amounts if you're v.low rr killing high rr players.

killing equal/lower rr players its about same as it is now...perhaps a little bit more

just check it and leech with 1 arrow , you ll get 450 rps for doing 275 dmg .

20 min ago we were 6 man grp and killed 1 dude of furiosito FG , we got 675 rps , instead of 275 before 1.82

I'd say gratzing from RR4-5 will cause alot of flooting now. I'd say RR8+ is still an archievement, especially for casual players.

Solo its a LOT different, i'd agree the RPs you get while solo are too much, but again, its not a 'lot' more than before.

Thecure killed a rr9hunter on his rr1 nightshade an got around 1800...he has a screenshot...
but you think 1400 instead of 1100 is going to make much difference?


i can take some SS from our 8v8 tonight if u want proof ;P RR7-10 grp

the week before the patch our grp made 700-800k each, after we made 1mil-1.1mil...


before rr4/5 it seems like you're making tons...but after that you dont rly notice a difference

rr10 is 5.9million

We aren't going to get over 10 times the amount of rps per kill so why increase the threshold that you need to get a grats thread by 10 fold?

Okay so we'll get double the amount of rps roughly, make it rr6 instead or even rr7 but the vast majority of the DAoC population will still never get a rr10 char so why not let their friends congratulate them?

It doesn't take more then a second to see that a thread is going to be 'grats'ing' someone; if people don't like reading them, why click them? ;p

Maybe it's a bit early for that kind of question? The patch just went out and we don't have any numbers or experience whatever about how many rp's people will do per week. So let's maybe give 1-2weeks and see how it's going before making polls...

Depends on class, playstyle and time spent anyway, its ridiculous to try and impose a limit on it on what RRs qualify for a grats thread. And like kiren said its gonna be around double the RPs over time, maybe a little more, the majority of players will still never get rr10.

Good support atm for the idea, maybe lowering the RR10 requiriment we can arrive to 1 agreeement
