Rm: Dark , Supp or Rc ?

well, you hit 1 thing with 32% resist on these "random" screens and then you hit for less than a darkcarver, with about 100, as i said 4 nukes and he whould be dealing more dmg than you . not to mention what YOUR dmg whould be with a darkcarver, as you can also see your dmg is in the 550 area on a lvl 50 player that means that your ybar dmg whould be the same that mine was and whould suffer the same resists as me on excali. That said im very happy with my respec, besides nuking good i aid my dark m8:s alot better than i ever could as a dark RM, and get gtaoe and bolts, gtaoe is handy but bolts is usually a waste of time and rarely an option since i usually have another rm assisting me. Anyways none of my arguements are hard to understand or verify, so the thread starter can easily decide for himself. For you K9awya i hope you learn to present better arguements than a l337 point of view as a basis for your opinion. That said i wont argue over this with you anymore, you ignore everything i say anyway or just dont understand it (thats my guess). Just try to not drop out of school until you are 16 and then you can re-read what i have said and we can continue this discussion.

ps this is all from 1.58 rvr, ie more sc and si items than joo can count.

I was 50 Darkness once and have DDs people in excess of 700 damage in one DD. However, damage isn't everything.

I believe that the sheer utility value of Supp, combined with the damage and other attributes make it far superior to any other Runie spec.

You don't have to agree with me but that's my opinion. No need to flame people who don't conform with your narrowminded views.

B.t.w k9, what is the relic status on your us server? It would look like to me that your spell damage is aided some by relics, cuz it's kinda high I think. I don't experience that high damage with two relics and 50 darkness on excal when I play uger. He's got only mastery of magery 1 though. What's yours?

26% resists + rase resists + 24% from buffs ~50% resists if they got that capped - usually allways have cold capped.. so dont go with it.. imo RC is nice cos you can debuff targets and assist the dark rms with their killing

ubless you're group is uber organised the 15sec duration debuff is most likely going onto a target that may not be nuked ;>


and the pics were just random, 372(-192) was actually the 2nd lowest hit on that night, no power relic but yeah mom2( wow + 25 damage)

and to who said anyone can take random pics, yes i took random pics of dark nukes, and they are quite impressive considering "everyone has sc, si and buffed" ??

and its not 50 dark, its 47+4

and yea supression is "versatile" - have 26 supp still get pbt and ns, dont need better ns.. pbt would be nice but the nuke sucks balls.

to nuke 700 + with dark i think you need mom3 etc vs some lvl 40 with no resists.

dunno if tzee shot you with the gaygun etc, but please show me some of your baseline nukes screens, im sure i would NOT be impressed with your trade off for no pbt and ns :>

im sure you love speccing 100% towards damage and then capping at like 470

Think you are probably right there Sorusi, my healer runs around with most of my magic resists capped or very close to cap and I dont have any uber drops from Legion, Dragon, etc, or any SCed armour atm. With AoM2 and group resists I am rarely in RvR with magic resists below 40%, normally more in the 50% region.

Bearing in mind that the availability of resist buffs in Albion are similar to those in Midgard, I expect most of the serious RvRers there have similar resists.

As for the Hibbies, their resist buffs are on much more commonly used specs and there seem to be a large number of organised Hib guild groups running around with very high resists.

Maybe players on Excal just make more effort to prolong their lifespan in RvR than on other servers

hmm...what is it with "this is the UBER spec". Spec your char the way you want, and that fits your play style. IMHO there are room for all specs on a RM. I respecced Uger from 47RC/26Supp to 50Dark/20Supp. Even though I'm not that active with him, I find the current spec more fun to play with...at least for me.

Having said that I he has WPIII and MoMI (soon II), but K9 dmg's as Leel said seems a bit high, but he does crit a lot . I don't really miss pbt either, cuz in 20 sec I'll be having some blody tank on my ass anyway. Uger is a small Kobold, but still he sucks up all the aggro .

not always easy to find resist buffs in pickup groups
