Hib - 4 healers

PBAOE4tehwin! 1fg of a bombsquad while the animists sneak in.... Hibs VERY well known for this tactic and if Domain/Garbonnach is in the bombsquad that does it then the mid casualties will be much higher than hib casualties.

I'm sorry but an fg of animist making it into a relic keep at the time of an RR is not a reflection of their skill, rather a reflection of a poorly planned rr, even if they were escorted by DH.

And for those that want to jump up and yell "bards dont heal!!!!!!111" I KNOW - but it's healing capacity - you at least have the backupif needed, and even bards heal in some situations (e.g. those shitty little heals at keep sieges that primary healers dont want to waste mana on, but that otherwise add up over time).

One question to you ardemal and to rest of mids tbh... if Hibernia does a primetime relic raid against Midgard and succeeds (which they will do sooner or later) will you just alarm clock them back or do it at primetime? Probably a stupid question considering what Midgard did to us.

silly question to eb asking mids. cos most who say primetime raids will do primetime ..

and when the time comes they get fed up of attempting and failing a primetime raid....

some unknown person will somehow gather a zerg to take them at alarm clock time and those who say "we will only ever do prime time raids" will just happen to be online at that time and "tag" along with the zerg..

or claim it was a half hearted attempt with a mini zerg and it snowballed into a full scale raid... so not even worth taking the mids word into consideration

I made such a good point, I'm going to post it again:

I don't think it's anything about the people who play each realm. In my experience playing across different realms and servers here and in the US, there's not a lot of difference between them.

But there is one factor that I suspect might have something to do with it: The position of Alb's power relic keep, which is a bitch to defend. Without checking, I'd be willing to bet that Albion on most servers virtually never has power relics (is there a site I can easily compare this, rather than going through the Realm Wars thing in Camelot Herald?), and that where they have relics at all, it's almost always the strength ones.

Of course, if I'm right, it kind of ruins what could have been a great flame/whine thread. Sorry

a previous poster was right in saying that its become focussed on a war with alb/mid fighting for str relics with hib sitting on their assess with pow relics.
basically because alb pow is undefendable and mids are naturally more interested in str, if mids try to go for both they lose protection on str relics which is what they care about most ultimately.
mid also attaracts the hard core gamer, so more likely do 6am raid etc. u can tell this buy amount of rvr guilds in realm to their population.

Ardamel has stated several times now (when will u get it in your thick skull) that he only does primetime raids. The last raid wasn't Ardamels raid at all so quit the whining.

Hello Phule, Ardamels have never conducted a prime time raid on Albion. 11am is not and never will be primetime, end of story. Ardamels have spewed alot of crap, but he still needs to back up his OWN words of taking back the relics at the time they were taken from his own realm, unfortunately his skills, and those of his realmmates didnt match his ambition so he gave up, and afterwards he condoned an alarm clock raid. Albion have conducted 2 primetime raids on midgaard in the last year (which were succesfull) both i believe by the tactic off logging out before the raid, just like the mids have done beforehand in the raids of last summer.

Last hib raid on mids was at 8pm, 5 groups logged out at the wrong location as bait for a realm spy, and that was the the only logging out. The rest ran piece by piece out to the relic keep, we took all three doors down the hardway with rams and we had 3 animists('cos some gimp is gonna have to whinge).

Is there a better way to raid then that?

which vgn grp is this u r reffering to? there was 1 grp that ran in odin's most of the night which had 5 vgn 3 la members, and 1 grp that was in emain with 2 or 3 vgn members and the rest from other guilds, and it certainly wasn't our grp u got 10k from as we only met u once and that was atop amg, where u managed to moc down 3 people but ended up dying.

I think he means to say never done a successful primetime raid, and he's right.

He did one on hib primetime and that was it.

1 year and 3months ago, after albs had been in possession of the str for like 9months Ardamels led a raid at about 10 am to 12 am on a saturday morning. He has never led a successfull raid in primetime against albion. There was alot of bickering about the time of the attack etc etc blah blah, but one thing is clear 11am is not primetime. What then happened was that there opened op an discussion where lotsa mids, including Ardamels, agreed that if albs had the guts to take them primetime from mids, mids would take it back at the same time. Albs did take the relics back primetime! in 2 seperate raids on in september and one in november. Mids responded in primetime once or twice but werent successfull, they therefore did an 8am raid a saturday and were successfull.

conclusion Mids = hipocrites.
