Which is why a referendum wouldn't happen. If we went back in it would have to be with a clear understanding of what it meant and with a clear (e.g. 2/3) majority. And that's not going to happen.

In true British fudge fashion the UK will end up completely aligned with the EU but not in it. So everyone can pretend the got what they wanted.

When the GE run up starts, the country should be reminded that Farage had a hand in Brexit and how shite its turned out to be, also that he distanced himself from it after it happened rather than tried to fix it. If done right, it could do a lot of damage to Reform on the run up to GE.
