The Usual Suspects, but I fully expect that everyone has already seen this.

My brother is a huge Saw fan and says the final chapter(film #7 or something) is a major "haha we've fucked your brain!" film. I dunno... After the third one I was kinda done with it

I've seen all of the above, and yes, Sherlock was great. If you're a fan of this sort of thing, I really recommend getting hold of two of my first post: Fermats Room and Timecrimes. Both Spanish, and both excellent. Timecrimes is a time looper one, but closer to Triangle than Primer (ie you can follow it)

Bah! This thread has turned into 'find a mindfuck film that babs hasn't seen' thread.

Have you seen/read any of the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movies/books?

Seven Psychopaths.
Cum Guzzling Sluts.

Loved Seven Psychopaths. It's not really a "figure it out" thing rather than a very dark comedy.

I didn't love it as much as Cum Guzzling Sluts tho. :)

It is a sort of figure it out, twisty type thing but I do agree from perhaps 2 thirds in its just a funny film. Sam Rockwell ftw!

Also an old but brilliant mind fuck film is Angel Heart.

Edit - I'm on a roll now....

I know you will of seen this one babs but Oldboy (original not the bloody Hollywood remake) is astounding. Now you See Me is good, Prisoners is amazing, Shutter Island, Mystic River, Orphan.

No worries, Moreflicks tells me the Scandinavian countries have it on Netflix at the moment, so I'll watch it on there, cheers though.

Although.... depends which things you're talking about shaving.

DNS sorcery (unblock us or UNO DNS or some other DNS rerouting magic).

I mainly keep it to US content at the moment.

Proxy/VPN things. There are free ones that just work in browsers as extensions, but I use www.unblock-us.com . First month is free, then it's £3/month.

Anything you can change DNS settings on in your house can use it (TV, consoles, PC, phone etc), lets you change Netflix region instantly.

Combine it with moreflicks.com that lets you search for films, genres etc on Netflix and tells you which region they're on. Change that to region on unblock-us, fire up Netflix, bingo, film!

Yeah, US has about three times as much as the UK, but Canada often has newer films sooner. Brazil/Mexico are great for Disney and animated films for kids, as long as it has English soundtrack.

Sign up to the Netflixable newsletter, sends you weekly updates of what's new in what region.

But how do you get the other countries Netflix? So say I fanny about with my TV's DNS which is what we watch Netflix through how does the TV give me the USA Netflix, or is it all DNS specific?

For example, if I wanted USA netflix:

1. Log in at unblock-us.
2. Pick USA from the region dropdown
3. On your TV, change the dns addresses to the ones unblock-us give you.
4. Launch Netflix.

That's it. Unblock-us see a connection from your IP address, then routes you as if you're in the USA.

Netflix app is one thing, regardless of where you are in the world, it just shows the things you can get in your region.
