fun down in afghanistan btw? been thinking about joining the military, even though its hard having diabetes1, is it a good challenge?

Don't go serve in another country just for the "fun".. My big bro is going to Kosovo(yeah I know it's not Iraq or Afghanistan) with the danish army or whatevah you wanna call it.. Kinda sux thinking about what can happen to him while he is gone for 7 months!

When he lands there has just been an election and no matter which way it goes there will be riots, so that's not fun to think about!

Think about your friends and family before you go and not just yourself imo! I know that I will worry for him the day he leaves till the day he returns..

Yeah i find it quite "fun" if ud like to call it that, I actually did it becouse of the experience it would give me... Tired of walkin around in everydaythesame sweden. So thought id do something a bit more important, and afterall getting to see new cultures and landscapes is really a pleasure.. And as we r scandinavien countries, we dont really go to the "dangerzone". Would be a difference if u joined the upcomming Nordic Battlegroup whome stands directly under NATO.. Then they will send u where ever the crisis r. For example Iraq. But a scandinavien country would never take a whole batallion of their own to any of the dangerous places, thats my experience atleast.
