Haha, I get that too, start watching stuff with privacy mode on! That said, advertisements on you tube are annoying the hell out of me. Schizophrenia medicine. Chron's disease assistance. Alzheimer medication. Depression pills. Cancer stuff. Bi-polar crap. How do they even know I suffer from all that? It wouldn't be so bad if they were just the usual 15 second clips, but these are the long unskippable ads in the middle of my 2 hour techno video, and they are so damn depressing. Have to turn the sound off while they're on!

We had to ring up a convolescence home yesterday where the mrs mother was recovering from an op. Got put on hold while they traced some info and all the hold was adverts and messages saying how awesome the care home is.

I think it depends on the series. iDrive is a name they slap on their infotainment systems throughout the range but there are better and worse versions of it.

Some of the stuff is a bit gimmicky but I like the key with the screen on it and the various functions it provides and the gesture-driven external camera views look nice.

Bought a new sofa, in stock in the store last Saturday. Delivery arranged for today by the manager, don't know what time, they will call between 8 and 9 with a delivery slot. So rearrange work schedule so I'm in for the delivery.
No call.
Ring the delivery warehouse, no record of the sale.
Ring the store, "It's on the system, I can see it here". Tell the fucking warehouse!
Calls me back "Yeah it's not on their system, can't give you a delivery date as the manager isn't in until tomorrow to reschedule it."

Different systems. The warehouse doesn't appear to be at fault. They should deal with the distribution orders they are given in the warehouse management system. If the order isn't in the system it isn't their fault. If the store is acting as customer service as well as retail sales though then it should have access to both systems or it can't do its job.

Delivery companies who either don't deliver or deliver badly

Whether you're in or not, you'll get a card saying "sorry we missed you". Same with Royal Mail. If they don't deliver they can charge the sender for re-delivery.

Makes me wonder how much they pay their employees per parcel - I think most of them are self employed unless they drive a proper Hermes van.

There is a couple who deliver for Hermes round my way, but they don't do the deliveries until the evening as they both have day jobs. They are really polite and you are in when they come. Can't fault it tbh
