OK but I remember the first time I went for a piss after chopping chillies and touched my bell-end. That was intense!Snus burns, esp first time. Think what chili does to the bum, and imagine a snus.. must hurt
because you never clean the oven!Bacon is anti stick. Oven cook bacon is easier and less messier than frying.
You're so behind the times. I bet you don't wash your clothes in the midi-system either.Bacon in the oven? What sort of fucking savages inhabit this board?
You don't have lard?If you bake it in the oven how do you make the fried bread after?
Hard tofind bacon in supermarkets with rind on any more.By pouring the left over oil into a hot pan
By oven cooking it the rind goes nice and crispy but the meat stays nice and moist.
Do you remember when there used to be an annoying bit of bone in back bacon. Nom on an sandwich and crunch. LolDon't buy it from a supermarket then![]()

I'm willing to test this theory tonight. With pictures. I suspect if you bake on tin foil the bacon still sits in fat, so is the same as frying - but people claim bacon fried isn't as moist as bacon baked, but the fat is just as crispy - so the potential for better bacon is clear. But if you fry it it is 100x tastier, and much quicker to boot.

@Raven / @Wij / @dysfunction / @Lamp - optimum settings for the oven, including any pre-heat time, per favore. I'll take an average of your different preferences and try it.
FOR SCIENCE!!*
*clearly being genetically better than all of you, and a non-smoker, means that my taste buds are not a limiting factor in this experiment and my decision is objectively (and legally) final.
Length of preheating time?I preheat the oven to 200 celsius
Length of preheating time?
In fact, I want this off people:
If ovening
A) Oven temperature 200 Celsius
B) Length of preheating time (if any) 10 minutes
C) Type of tin foil Online Food Shopping - ASDA Groceries
D) turn up tin foil edges or not? Turn up to avoid mess
E) time of first checking (if multiple checks) 10 minutes
F) hard cut-off time. 16-7 minutes in the new oven as it will be burnt!
If frying
G) How hot do you get your frying pan
H) Oil/butter or no?
I) er...
