I set up XBMC (SPMC on a Fire TV) with a USB drive for my parents before they had to move to Scotland. The plan being to sync to my other USB drive and then swap them out monthly. Phone call tonight telling me that SPMC will not start. So I had to try to talk my Dad though checking Signal TV Llama and SPMC to see where the problem is. This got tedious very quickly so I have added a NAT though to my work PC and installed Plex So much easier and so far working great. As soon as I have a permanent address I will have to point him at my server but for my I just need to think of a cover in case anyone asks me what the PMS NAT is for

Had to talk my brother through installing minecraft on his old laptop for his son the other day. Didnt work. I gave up. They found a slihtly newer laptop that my nephew can play on.
