Stupid justice system fails again.
That's disgusting - everything about it - including the police response.

Mate of mine was knocked off his bike in a hit and run in Nottingham, fucked his clavicle. Stupid bint was only 200m from her home tho so he went back after hospital and found her address and gave it to the police. He had to fight tooth and nail for them to do anything about it.

In the end she paid for his broken bike and got a few points. For a hit and run.

Its the cps not the police according to his film. I guess they couldnt prove who was driving and no one owned up so they couldnt proceed with the trial.

Police said it was too expensive to investigate - which is the sort of shit they pulled on my mate until he provided them with the address and details of the woman who hit-and-run him on a plate.

Then they tried all sorts of things to try to stop him pressing for a prosecution.

For a hit and run! I mean, how criminal do they want people to be before they think that the justice system should kick in?

The fact that it's quicker to download a film than it is to copy it onto a USB stick.

Posting controversial stuff on Twitter ought to do it.

Being impatient. I'm doing FTP training and each sesh wrecks me. I know that in 4 or 5 weeks I'll look back and consider myself a massive pussy. I want that fitness now

I thought you were on about file transfer protocol for a moment there*.

I got wrecked by a sesh this weekend too: After imbibing inhuman amounts of a variety of alcoholic beverages I and a friend boarded a tram in a shithole called Hucknall to take a ride to our respective homes. I had "door issues" - apparently I couldn't hit the button that opened them - so the tram started up again and I missed my stop. And the next one.

Third time's a charm tho. I made it off the tram, crossed the lines to the opposite direction and jumped on the next one. And missed the next eight stops, which took me back to the shithole at which I originally embarked.

I then rang the missus repeatedly until she woke up and made her talk to me all the way back on the tram where, under her capable audible instruction, I succesfully alighted at the correct stop and proceeded to walk home.

Upon entering the house I made her get out of bed to cook for me. She was very happy.

I fucking win! :D

Oh, and your sesh sounds like the sesh of a pussy. Miaow! :)

*Edit: Damn you @Moriath!

I can get a return flight to LA for £350 odd quid. However, if I want to go one-way (so I can choose another flight home) I have to spend £550+?

WTF?

Its always the same cause they see it that they have to sell a single to make up for you not having a return ie giving them an empty seat. Its crap but hey. Just buy a return and dont use the return part

This has been normal practice since...forever. Are you talking about flying back via a different airport ("open jaw" flight) or just being flexible about your return date? If its the former you can usually find deals these days (if you can get to an STA travel they are often better than online for that kind of thing), if you want flexible dates, sorry you're going to pay a premium for that.

I have been speaking to the guy I am buying my flat off today and he has just told me the Tenants have not found somewhere they like and following advice from some government chump have decided not to move out today. So rather than buying a Flat Monday I now have to ask my Aunt to put me up for up to two more months while he goes down the court order route :(

Ouch. Feel your pain; I had a tenant try to do that.

Yellow pens.

Unless you're colouring-in, whats the point of yellow pens?

I might have said this already, but...

The fact we suddenly have to start naming bits of wind. What the fuck? I have no idea what bit of wind we are on now.

I've been rolling my eyes hard about it all winter. I think we're up to I, or J?

"I" is the 9th of the season I think. They only bother naming them if they're over a certain threshold and they think they might be seriously dangerous. It's raising awareness, I don't see the problem.

edit - although obviously I'm not in Blighty so you people probably get bombarded with it a lot more than me accidentally watching the UK weather after the news.

Its a bit of wind. I think it might have knocked a fence down somewhere. Serious business.
