"print page 1 and 2" - resulting in one page filled with numbers and the second page only has one line..?

paying extra to get something delivered early, only to discover it's coming via HDN and so it'll take longer than standard post :(

Tuesday: I'm wearing one of my favourite pairs of jeans. Yipee!
Wednesday: Foolishly stick them in the washing basket for the Mrs to wash
Thursday: The things don't fit me now. She must have stuck them in the tumble dryer for 9 hours. Fine if you're 5 ft 9 and a 28 inch waste...but I'm neither.

Went to the pharmacy today to pick up a prescription. There was a button to push to call for attention if nobody is out the front. I push button once and wait. A mum with kids in pram comes up behind me, patronizingly tells me I need to push the button or they won't know I am there, she pushes the button several times. Pharmacist comes out and makes comment about hearing me the first time and that I should be patient.

On a similar theme: you're at the lights, geezer behind you hoots, and the cyclist infront of you thinks you hooted him and give you a mouthful of abuse.

Dont use a string, it should have a 'strap hanger' bracket either side, you need to put 2 screws in the wall and hang each bracket off each screw

I used to do picture framing, which included framing very large mirrors

Not really a pain. work out the centres between you brackets, match that with the distance between your screws. Measure how far the brackets are positioned on the back of the mirror, that should tell you were to put the screws in relation to the height you want the mirror

The brackets on the back should be the same distance either side down from the top of the mirror, then make sure you level the screws.

If you use a string, it will probably eventually snap, also by using the 2 screws, the mirror wont hang away from the wall so much, it will sit flush

My piano teacher's piano is missing the top 5 notes! Unbelievable. She's an amazing teacher but her piano is a piece of crap.
