Yeah, they're not at all biased :)

I'm sure they are. Not sure how bias affects the breakdown of Full fat vs Diet drinks consumed by fatties however.

You might want ot have a word with the British Soft Drinks Association then, as they are clearly impartial.

Fixed.

I clearly was, you made it about diabetics due to obesity.

In the context of the discussion we were having you brought up diabetics. How was I supposed to know that you were talking about you?

Edit: Scratch that. Of course you were :)

Ok, life update;

Been looking for work, actively, for 5 months and nothing has panned out. No need for my paticular skills, so can't find anyone and want to kill someone. Who needs money eh?
Been hunting for an apartment for over a month, same deal, no catch, little contact even by those agency bastards. It's ok though! I do have a whole week left before i have to vacate the premises.
No no, not done yet, the girl that was all about starting something for the past year or so decided that she likes to be free to the unforseen future. F*ck. That. Meh, wouldn't have time for it anyway at this time.
Yesterday i nearly had a meltdown, but hey keep a "everythings fine" face and bottle it up works like an irishmans would.
Generally feeling everything weighing down and having a tick in my eye, -this- close to popping a nerve.

I'm the kind of person who takes little stress over things, likes to go with the flow and just enjoy life, but currently i'm really, -really-, tired.

The three letters FML would fit rather nicely here, along with #firstworldproblems.

So what should one take away from all this? You really should check if you're running low on toilet paper before sitting down on the throne.

(DIclaimer: jokes aside the above situation is true).

I often have to get in the shower after I take a poo because I've run out toilet paper but didn't check :(

I hope you find a job and somewhere to live though!

Sucks old bean. Keep at it. You got some mates you can crash at for a while?

Is there a massive housing shortage or summat?

Can see where you are from a work perspective tho. Why not take any old shit in the meantime to keep you active and out of the house - it's sometimes easier to find work when you're in work and the extra readies won't hurt. Even a bar job could be a laugh?

Yeah the apartment situation is correlated to the work situation pretty nicely. Can't afford any expensive apartments(pick and choose that is) and the ones i'm trying for aren't panning out. I'll probably get one of those emergency podtype aaprtments if nothing else if i can.

I'd do random jobs if i got any, but there's such a wide range of people working in different areas that without experience(i've been doing games all my life) i really can't get any. Not to mention they pay almost the same amount as doing nothing. Finland is so much smaller that there's not really a "just pop over to macD and work there" situation, i can't even -get- a job at MacD because they rather hire students and other "young folk".

In 6 months, or even three, things are probably going to be fine if not good, but that update was more of a current situation and venting it out.

Time to start looking outside Finland perhaps?

I like this conversation of Toto's problems, much better to read than anything from the Beer Snobs™. No offence ;)

Don't drink fizzy drinks at all anymore. Water, coffee or those Juicy Water things on occasion (yes I know they have too much sugar in them)

I'm in full-on pretentious craft beer mode these days. Currently I'm rotating between this:

Bombardier is lovely. I also like the honey brewed beers like waggle dance. And some spitfire or fursty ferret.

You could try moving to the UK, can't move for jobs atm. Bonus is that we have proper day/night cycles too!

Toht: Scouse just pm'ed me and said you're welcome to move into his place.

New summer comedy by Rob Schneider? :p

Moving isn't an option really, would mean leaving what little(friends etc) behind, get worse healthcare for the diabetus thing and also it costs a buck twenty over sh*tton. Ta for the suggestions though.

Well, all things seem a bit small right now, turning everything into a mild annoyance as something new came up;

Brother started playing dark souls 2 :(

Life advice.

"Live every minute of every day as if it's your last. Forget about money and your job. Talk to strangers. Tell your Dad you love him every day. Practice yoga in India. Prrotest against the government. Be fit and healthy always. Invite a homeless person into your home. Learn a language. Travel the world. " etc

.... and for those of us who aren't 21 and single, living in the real world with kids, mortgages, jobs, bills, health issues, - oh, and responsibilities...?

Who are these hippies who write this stuff?

Here's one; people who can't use a moment to look for something, before bothering others about it.

Be it google, forum search, missing spatula...women :D

"Have you seen the thing? Where's the thing? I can-- oh here it is nevermind!" So if you used two seconds of your time looking before...ffs.

Just been round my Dad's house. He's getting 11 MB per second download speed on his new router. He's connected wirelessly using a 3 year old cheap Asus netbook without any software installation .I got on with my Nexus 7 and only got 1.4. What gives?

it's all the monitoring overhead of spanning tree people tracking the metadata in your border gateway packets.
