Kick the fuckers out of Europe unless they admit to this problem and do something about it.

The team may be a pleaure to watch, but the fans are a disgrace.

I've had to turn the sound down to be able to watch this match

Some parts of the Crowd were chanting Ouh Ouhh Ouh, immatating a monkey I assume. When Any Black player for england got the ball, in particular that Wright fellow, Ian wrights son :D. He's a fast fella I'll give him that :0.

Well it was outrageous really, it did irratate me that they would sink to such patheic levels just to put some of the players of when the spanish them self suffer from abuse, being called wops < sp?> and what not, I was really surprised they would inflict that kind of pointless racism as some of them must know what its like. You know some ignorant / moronic spanish fans will think, it was only a tactic to throw off the english so our team could play better etc. There's no excuse for racism in this day and age. To think the last picture i saw of the english team wearing before the actual match was in training wearing T-shirts saying " Lets Kick Racism out of Football" and then this ......

From a football point of view, that match sucked. So boring and england played shit. The Spanish passed the ball well in the mid field but lacked in the last 1/3. Quite a poor match in Total but at least spain got a win and england wont be so confident in the next match.

I think I read somthing about this in the paper, or somthing similar. Some Spanish manager was trying to cover up for his racist behaviour by making comments about British Colonial times when we'd go around killing black people for daring to be on our land before we got there to claim it... or somthing like that...

Saw it in the pub, no sound but heard afterwards what they were doing, fuckin idiots, but then again football does attract the scum of society.

You're hardly going to find enlightend personalities in an average football crowd.

Expect it, deal with it and just write their names in the extermination black book for when the revolution comes.

absolute discrace... i'm old enough to know what it used to be like in the late seventies and early eighies with racisis scum at football grounds and have witnessed some awful things in and around football stadiums and had hoped this type of thing had long gone.. sure you know when England play in outa mongolia or somewhere like that. they havent quite caught up with the western world in this department but Spain ffs! this country is less than 2 hours away on a plane and should really know better...UEFA / FIFA should make them play there next 2 internationals behind closed doors and maybe just maybe a lesson might be learnt from this and an example be set to other teams.. international and club.
and as for the spanish managers comments on the eve of the game FFS!! set an example pal and its not the first time he's made silly comments like this anyway, seems to be his trademark atm...
yeah yeah yeah the english have done some bad things.. but i read in the bible once thats some romans killed some guy called jesus? cant remember the last time anyone brought that up before an italian international!!
well mr spanish manager(cant remember your name and dont wish to either) thanks alot for turning a game of football into a game of hatred, hurt, dissapointment, ignorance etc etc.. sleep well dinosaur

The Manager Didnt cause it though. He may have failed to condone it and even went as far to justify it. Which is amazingly stupid and unbelievable, was that the under 21's coach? they did the same chanting in the under 21's you see and I thought it was already in the papers.

A true shame indeed, but....

You are generalizating here the behaviour of some hooligans and translating it to the whole of the spanish foorball community. Isnt it a bit unfair?

Isnt it unfair when the average english fan is treated as a mindless rageous hoolingan just for the acts of a bunch of drunk ppl when they travel abroad following his national team?

The spaniard national team manager has been blamed and condemned all across the spanish tabloids yesterday n today for wot he had said. Mentioning the british colonies when they were nothing worst than the spanish ones isnt a right move indeed. But yet again, the rest of the soccer spanish institutions have blammed him n cannot be acussed of sharing the shame thoughts than him (Luis Aragones is his name btw).

Apart from this, i liked the spanish team match. Very consistent in the midfield n defense, constantly moving the ball fron side to side and kicking the englanders out of the match (Rooney n Neville spring to my mind, omg how they can lose the nerves such easilly?). Pitty they were less effective when it came to face Robinson. Neways, the match begun to lose intensity with the substitutions so i turned it off n went to play GTA3 :p .

Maybe they where saying Jejejejejeje ?

but back on topic, yes it was totaly out of line. I'm not gona wave a big stick at all the spanish , however getting the next say , 3 matches played behind closed doors, or disqualifing all SPanish teams from the Fifa Fair play award should be considered.

only way to kick this out is to stamp it out

they could just say that Spain gets kicked out if it carries on like they did with England hooliganism (sp?)

Either shut them up, or 1 less team to bother with :p

in holland they just stop the game when people do that, results are the results at the time when the game stopped, and next time that team has to play soccer they have to do it without fans in the stadium.

the spanish manager called a black player (cant remember who) a 'black shit', if he gets to carry on being spanish team manager after that then give Ron Atkinson his old job back imo :flame:

I think its sad the parents should be afraid to bring their children to a football match cause of what they could hear/see there, or beeing trampled by a bunch of 'men' who think its cool to make havoc.

Cool! So.. when your team is leading, you just wake up the hooligans and end the game to secure the win? :)

Seriously though, each and every country (and club) has its bunch of racist retards who´re spoiling the reputation of their team. England is not exactly known for its calm, friendly and cheering fans, neither is Germany or Holland. In Germany, they used to throw bananas at black players to go with the "ooh ooh" sound.
Just ignore them. If you´re responding to their provocations, you just do what they want: pour fuel into the flames.

I was indeed, and I regret the post - I made it whilst angry and a bit pissed, which is bever a god combination.

If any Spanish footie fans were offended by my post, I apologise. Obviously I'm assuming that DAoC'ers are a cut way above those idiots in the crowd at Madrid.

Not really. England had the same problem, and we only cleaned up our act after a lengthy ban from European league football. Since the Heysel tragedy most hooliganism occurs outside of the ground, which is outside of the responsibilty of the nations football association hosting the match. Inside the stadium is another matter. Unless the Spanish FA takes positive action to ensure that racism doesn't occur inside its stadiums, Spain is looking at punishment that could mean playing games inside empty stadiums, or even worse a ban from national football.

Its a bitter pill to swallow, having your country collectively accused of racism, when that just isn't the reality. But Spain needs to show the football community that it is actually doing something to ensure it never happens again, not just wheeling politicians out to condemn racism. A good start would be asking the Spanish manager to retract his daft comments or apologise. The guy is obviously either an idiot (best case, see Ron Atkinson) or racist (worst case, but see his Ashley Cole comments to Reyes). If this guy was the English manager, he'd have been sacked by now.....

OK, there were a bunch of supporters, and i'm ashamed they are supporters of my club, the Real Madrid, called the ultrasur making monkey-wise sounds when the black players had the ball (maybe they were only trying to speak in their own ultrasur-languaje) and then WHOLE spanish fan community is a gang of racist scum, fair, are the english football fans a bunch of drunk morons only because you had (and have) the hooligangs? dont think so. Stop your oh-so-pissed comments about the need of close stadiums and similars, i means is not like spanish football was banned for some years because their supporters KILLED 30 PERSONS in Heysel, and is not like football events organisms have a warning list whit the names of some of our hooligangs like they have whit other nations, naming one UK.

Luis Aragones words were stupid, mindless, but Sun and Mirror reporters (sp?) were looking for it, they enjoyed it soooo much.

And ofc i am for the erredication of recism out off stadiums, but also i am for the erradication of dirty playing, so how about a little suspension to Rooney and Neville while we are at it? english team should get football players instead brainless boxers, maybe that way they wont be rolled in playing field like you were, 1-0 was way short for the real match. :m00:

Good coach but his 72 years old make him go senile from time to time. Not the 1st time than the ole man comes with similar shit n manages to make a fool of himself.

And yes, as I said earlier, i dont dare to accuse sum1 from colonialism being spaniard as i am.
Have to know that a large part of the stadium disaproved the radicals behaviour n we even did boo on em

Thing that winds me up tho, if it was the english, FIFA would come down on us like a tonne of bricks, same if it was Sven who called Henry. Im not calling for an international ban for spain as i know it was only a small minority, but still, there should be some decent punishment handed out.

how dare you write on here about the events that took place in heysel stadium as some kind of come back to allow everyone to midly (or not) justify allowing that kind of racism in all future events involving english clubs
1,Heysel was not a racist occurence it was football hooligans
2, A massive ban from ALL european football was impossed on ALL english clubs. which has imo worked so this sad event hasnt since been repeated
3 maybe the spanish FA havent caught up with the idea of a hooligan hit list because there are no hooligans in spain ( i dont think so)
4 quote/ Luis Aragones words were stupid, mindless, but Sun and Mirror reporters (sp?) were looking for it, they enjoyed it soooo much. .. contridiction calling him stupid for bring up past events if you are saying pretty much the same thing (heysel) and sun, mirror reporters looking for it..bollox his words said not a reporters

this is not a you and us debate..tit for tat and its not about the history of two close countrys . you done this in 1504 or 1984 this is simply about the now and the future and how we can stop idiots making monkey noises at footballers or any one for that fact because of there colour

If Sven had made the comments the spanish manager did at training it would of been all over the front tabloids the next day with Sven getting the boot shortly after.
