Let's face it - no one's turning down free RPs. But the gank groups like to pretend they have some big code of honour, when in fact they're just as RP horny as everyone else. Nothing wrong with liking 8vs8's but as Cam said - 8vs8's can be arranged in out of the way spots easily enough. But no, that wouldn't keep the RPs ticking over, would it?

oh how often i let someone live because they werent in any state to put up a fight on my ns.. how often i just watched fights, or scanned around it for adds and killed them instead.. shame the people that play like that are so rare

The answer to the question imo is that the gank groups do whatever suits them.

Because most of them are on irc they could quite easily go and arrange fg vs fg fights in the arse end of nowhere where noone will add at all and then they can achieve ultimate enlightment, achievement and respect.

But then ofc they wouldnt get 250k rps a week from turning up at the bridge and ganking 16 people standing there looking up at the sky.

-its ok for 8vmore fights whenever they feel like - note that often the more is a load of ungrouped noobs who present no challenge whatsoever (respect!! - what an achievement)

-its ok to roam around the bridge and yell "f*ck off" to anyone coming over the bridge and naturally joining in a fight right next to the portal point

Basically gank groups are a bunch of egotists who's sole aim is to maximise rps (by bending the 8v8 rules accordingly) and dictate to ppl in the most rude manner how the game should be played.

if the game was intended to only be played 8 v 8 it would have been designed that way - it is a battleground.

oh and if you see TT vs VP fighting, dont even think to try to add as hib group.

I was watching a fight yday on my infil between VF group , TT & VP and u both went to kill vf group but I was talking with sollers in pm's and had to laugh with it and I understand it a bit but now I really dont care who you are and who you fight etc but 3 way fights can be fun ;d

I don't think anyone in TT are playing for rps, just for fun and good fights. When we see others fighting, be it fgs or solo'ers, we leave them alone. We sometimes leave solo'ers/small groups alone, just to get added by them a few mins later when we have a fight, so yes we do kill/gank small groups often. We know when you fight near beno bridge adds are inevitable, the mid/hib group just shouldn't roam there tbh. Don't think we ever tell albs to fuck off when they add, I normally use a funny-ish but polite macro to tell them it's not appreciated .

That being said, offcourse mistakes are being made now and then.

Read again, there's a difference between adding and ganking... when we see someone fighting we leave them alone, when they're running around freely we kill them most of the times...

But maybe for you it's all the same as long as there's rps involved?
