Which of the current gank groups would say they play for "8vs8"?

Second question (for those that say yes):

If you play for "8vs8" and hate adds so much why on earth do you roam around occassus bridge* and effectively "camp the atk"?


* - mostly just the hibs/mids here the albs need to go there to get a boat, not sure where the alb gank groups go as I'm not one of them, though I see the odd gank group running around waiting for the mid/hibs to come back or flattening the odd solo mid/hib that comes to play.

We play partly for 8v8 and the rest zergfarm which leads to point two, we roam around bridges because when theres no 8v8 around, you need something to do.

i dont run with the same people every day (far from it) but the more we focus on getting clean 8v8 fights away from zergy areas, the better.. if group decides to add / kill solo people i get kinda annoyed, if it keeps going on i leave

if i find someone that did smt really sad, i do enjoy zerging them on every occasion tho

anyways, as said if theres no groups out to fight then its mainly hanging around bridges hoping for groups to come out afterall, if it doesnt improve we log off.. not like groups are gonna run around a bridge ALL day

When i run in a balanced GG we try to create action away from zerg points but if that fails "you get bored and frustrated and do something stupid" (guess the movie ) which means you run into zerg and spam all the RA you have and see how many seconds you live.Then off to FH and cry about the zerg

almost all of the ggs running atm are rr8+, no need for more zergfarming.

also, the warderzergs are much harder to kill, even albs can make dmg after nf! (moc3)

TT play primarily for 8 vs 8... although we do indulge in the occasional tower taking etc, simply because everyone needs a bit of variety from time to time!

As far as Ocassus Bridge goes; when the action is in Hibernia or Midgard you pretty much have to go through that general area to get to the docks, and frequently end up finding a fight or two along the way. When the action is mainly in Albion, we generally roam out of another keep instead of Benowyc to avoid the Bridge.

As Ali said, you gotta go that way to head to the docks, we normally do a quick tour of HW and if no action head either mid or hib. If theres no action in the other realms, most hib/mid groups will head HW as thats where they can "farm" the most RP's of random soloers, ie albs going docks or randomly running around. So it makes sence if no action elsewhere that theres likley to be something in HW near beno

Its one thing seeing "the random albs" zerging/adding, but it takes the piss when you see "respected" guilds do the same - even tho u roam around zergy areas

I think u all missing his point tbh, If im right hes asking why u all admit to killing/farming solo ppl when u want/bored/other reason yet u come on here and time and time again say ppl who add are lame and 8 vs 8 is what u want/what game is about for you/

HW is the New Emain. Hibs/Mids head there to farm randoms at docks/bridge primarlily i think. We go there to farm them... (or die trying)

There is no equivelent of HW/Docks for Albs. ie Nowhere u can go and find a guaranteed flow of free low rr rps. Not that we look for that anyway, if we find it we will take it tho ofc

When we do go abroad we get the same add problems hibs/mids do. Especially in hib, where theres a ranger or 3 behind every tree it seems ^^

Bled bridge is the new AMG/MMG rolled into one for soloers/leechers and stealthers. And can be a good source of rps when no other fg action around.
