VP are aiming not to add on any fights. sometimes we kill some adding stealthers that are trying to screw up those fights.

yes, sometimes we kill soloers, but we don't gonna chase down 1 guy if he has some kind of speed/sos/charge or other methods. but if we meet the same guy again he ussualy gets spared. often spare known ppl we know from the fg fights, unless they have problem with their ego and are retards. stealthers are always kill on sight.

it happend once when we got bored and cba to wait for LD that had to log anyway, we suiced with what was left of the group, 5,6 ppl, on a solo chanter....

oh and if you see TT vs VP fighting, dont even think to try to add as hib group.

i personally detest killing non-stealth soloers. cos ive been one myself occaisonally and i know how it feels to get rolled by a fg. most non stealth soloers do not add and are after clean fun fights they can win, if they play well, 1v1 1v2 or 1v3 now and then, etc. "solo" stealthers dont exist lol and 99% of assasins/archers are gutless cowards irl (imo) and will add on everything they can get in range of, simply cos it maybe the only rps they get that night.

and at the same time the hypocracy of most groups kinda takes the piss, often fights are only left alone because the people fighting mouth off somewhere if they do get added on

if groups didn't add just cus they have strong principles, they wouldn't kill any solo'er unless its known as a zerger, they wouldn't add on any smaller groups fighting - but it happens all the time

/shrug.. never liked adding, but theres such a thing as going too far aswell.. always someone has a disadvantage, giving up the fight or turning to the same grp together just cus they couldn't see people were fighting is a bit sad..

2nd fight there was no way for us to see you were fighting alrdy, cus of trees and the hill, but dont really feel like discussing it cus it'll end up in lots of flaming and bitterness

3 way fights can be just as fun as fg vs fg, and not like we stood a lot of chance in a randomgrp anyways shrug

we are not resuming the fight when we killed adds. we do some horny emotes and leave to rebuff etc. and get rdy for the next fight

I enjoy watching clean 8v8 action & often I do unstealth and get CC'd but i dont mind. As long as I left alone to watch it's cool.

Although I do admit I do use some of my abilities - no Im not talking about adding 45% of the time, mostly it consists of fzing or shield tripping.

Couple of weeks back we had a group out and were fighting LA...getting beat ofc (we're not very good ) but still putting up a fight, when your guild comes over the horizon and wipes us before then turning on LA. No complaints from us - it's part of the game in our book - but to see you complaining about adds is, as VF says, sheer hypocrasy. It's things like that which lose people credibility and actually makes it seem like they are just being anal.

The answer to the question imo is that the gank groups do whatever suits them.

Because most of them are on irc they could quite easily go and arrange fg vs fg fights in the arse end of nowhere where noone will add at all and then they can achieve ultimate enlightment, achievement and respect.

But then ofc they wouldnt get 250k rps a week from turning up at the bridge and ganking 16 people standing there looking up at the sky.

So :O

-its ok for 8vmore fights whenever they feel like - note that often the more is a load of ungrouped noobs who present no challenge whatsoever (respect!! - what an achievement)

-its ok to roam around the bridge and yell "f*ck off" to anyone coming over the bridge and naturally joining in a fight right next to the portal point

Basically gank groups are a bunch of egotists who's sole aim is to maximise rps (by bending the 8v8 rules accordingly) and dictate to ppl in the most rude manner how the game should be played.

if the game was intended to only be played 8 v 8 it would have been designed that way - it is a battleground.

It´s the same drill like in the other thread. Expecting people to leave them alone when moving/rebuffing/fighting 8v8 and respect their wish to play 8v8 doesn´t work when - on the other hand - they can decide to kill whomever, wherever and whenever they feel like it.

the fact is some people like the challenge of 8v8 and find the zerging/adding/whatever boring, its down right frustraiting when you are half way through a very good 8v8 fight and get hit by the zerg (from any side) if as people say "not everyone cares about RPS" why add on a fight? why not wait to see what happens and then storm in, that way you are happy with your zerging and the 8v8'rs are happy they got a good fight. i think the hiteverythingwithasmuchaoesasyouhave zerglings are actually more RP horney than people who play 8v8 tbh

who was the most clever, as we all know the risk ?

why not run som 3 full guild groups and make 24vs24 people, with all the aoe magic these days that should be a challange aswell

Let's face it - no one's turning down free RPs. But the gank groups like to pretend they have some big code of honour, when in fact they're just as RP horny as everyone else. Nothing wrong with liking 8vs8's but as Cam said - 8vs8's can be arranged in out of the way spots easily enough. But no, that wouldn't keep the RPs ticking over, would it?
