question about lv 50

guys im having a boring dya in work and i was wondering

When u get to lv 50, and if u die to u lose xp or do u just stay at lv 50 seen as u never drop below a lv and when 50 u cant go higher?

U lose exp like anyother lvl and u don't go down a lvl like any other level but u still lose constitution if you release and its costs 6g for each piece of con

You *can* go higher than 50. You keep getting exp for mobs that you kill, and your exp bubbles go up (veeeerrrryyyy slllooowwwwlllyyy) and, should you get an exp death, your exp goes down. But it can never go down below 50, and even if you should ding 50.5, you don't get anything for it.

the amount of xp u lose when u die is so small anyway you wont notice it

No matter what level you are you can't drop a level by losing xp...

so at lvl 50 all there is to lose is con you can lose and gain xp but it's "monopoly xp" (worthless)

you cant drop below lvl 50, but you can loose xp on that lvl if you got any. And you still loose con =)

oh u can go a maximum of 40.4999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 (and so on) u cant actualyl get to 50.5

I have that problem with 40.4999999

but maybe that's because I spend all my time talking crap on the guild line/levelling alts instead of getting xp...

You actually get additional Spec points, like when you ding 49.5 etc. It has not happened to me yet, but read some US server boards, you will see them talking about their 50.5 finish spec.

I've seen this posted a lot on american boards - along with an equal number of posts saying, "no, this is not true." I couldn't find anything confirming or denying on camelotherald.com, but in the FAQ on the "Classes of Camelot" website (a site that often has information more accurate than Mythic's official documentation) it says this:

Is there a level 50.5?
No, once you reach level 50, there are no extra skill points awarded for advancing to level 50 and a half.

I think the "50.5 ding" is a hoax.

You do get a prize @ 50.5, but it isnt skill points :0)

50.5 gets you a ding but no points I've heard...


the _real_ 50.5 which lets you get 102 AF armour and 16.5 dps weapons is Level 50 Realm Rank 5

Hmm, I wonder what you get if you're RR5 but not lvl50... Next lvls AF & DPS cap? Something to shoot for, even if not getting those
