Prydwen Coallition - PvP Server

I dont know about you guys but I would much like some sort of coallition between the people of Prydwen, some guild name we can all meet under. Would be good to have some familiar faces on the dark side... someone to cry too when youve been ganked twenty times on your first day, that sort of thing...

So can we get some volunteers to meet up, help organise and be part of a Prydwen Coallition.....? Would be better than the join or be ganked way of finding a guild..

What kind of guild though? Full PK, carebear, ganker or a bit of mix-n-match pending on the situation.

The idea in our guild is to form a small guild of our guys/gals first, for the whole powerlvling thing, and then to melt together with other guilds into the giant guilds you see on the Dreds. We'll be full PK, or at least that is the plan.

I think, thoguh I have to talk to guild about it, that we would probably be interested in joining a full PK guild consisting of prydwenites.

PvP servers die after about 2 months.....on the US servers mordred and andred are on the bottom half of the list

Seriously I think that can vary.

On Andred 1 guild, conquest, formed 3 - 4 groups and got 50 in 2 - 3 weeks.
After that they took all relics and started the gankfeast.
After a month when someone else started to get to 50 they left cause they were bored. (Like 100 ppl)

Then Combine came, recruited half the server, (The ones they didnt recruit they allied with), zerged it over and over for a couple of weeks then when they reached Conquests rps (didnt really) they left and said there were no competion.
(150ppl)

So basically to large guilds/alliances kill the server.
Cause number > all in daoc (sadly).

So if we keep guilds and alliances relatively small the server will live.

My 2 cents.

Well if a large proportion or Prydwen teamed up we would have a moderate to small sized PvP guild.
It would just be nice to see GM's/Officers from various guilds teaming up to form the council of a guild where you can meet Prydwenites for RvR against the servers with all teh ugly people on them.... Call it "The Prydwen Club" everyone likes some exclusivity.

Silver I'd agree with you. A limited amount of members per guild and guilds per alliance could solve this. Problem would be that the best are with the best and the worst have nothing to go for.

Yes you die in towns and while exping on a PvP server it is true. God knows passing lvl10 and getting bashed alot of times can be a bit frustrating...but then again it is called PvP and all that play there know the rules of the game, so plz stick to the subject of the post.

I personally think it would be fun but a bit hard to manage with a big Prydwen guild. Let small guilds form at a start and see what happens, nothing wrong in merging with some old Pryd people after a while if the game develops that way.

When I read my own post I realise how unevitable it is, that someone will fall for the temptation and form a 200+ ppl guild just
to be able to have the relics.

I will salute all guilds that stay at ~50 active members and still
makes a difference.

I see what u mean but i think youll find 200 would be a small guild for pvp.... But anyway whats wrong with uber guilds... just gives you more pleasure when you slaughter anyone who follows them.....

Pry uniting together is not gonna happen, and its gonna be good to meet people from other servers anyways so that ones out the window...

Although you tempt me with OwNzEr Of WoRlDs.... we could stay up all night exping get really high level gank everyone till they join us.. if that doesnt work we can hang around Cotswold buying new members with gold and stuff.!!! Right on!

yup I agree there klav. On Mordred/Andred I just keep stealthed near people and whisper "truce?" to which 90% of the time I get "ok, truce" back - then usually xp together or something nps. Not once have I had someone agree to truce and then attack, doubt many do it as everyone wants to xp in groups so wants to keep an ok rep.

K missunderstood your post maybe. I thought you meant zerged 24/7 as in "dont play there all that happens is that big guilds zerg the entire server and you wont thing it is fun and leave after a week".......

Yes you can kill players and yes you need to kill players, but from my experience (play Andred but not a high lvl char so my experience may not reflect the higher lvl gameplay) you do not get zerged 24/7 of the reason that all fighting is not in 1 place. One very positive thing is the grouping with all kinda chars, you learn alot of things by teaming with chars you usually fight against imo...so its new flavor (sp) to the game imo. What many players need to stay playing daoc for a while more.

quite sure I'll never join a guild with more than 20-30 members. Bigger guild than that get too high percentage of twats, children and chimps ... Brrr, imagine the guildchat of a all-prydwen guild, yikes

Don't care about relics, don't care about RP's. all I want is 20-30 nice guys and gals to play with and chat with.
