Bloke enters a sports competition and reaches the final. Having done so his task is simple. Whilst blindfolded he has to handle three footballs and can do so with each one for a minute. After that minute he has to say the home team that has used that ball.

After handling 1st one he says "This ball feels virtually new, no scuffing or scratches on it. I reckon this team is a skilled passing outfit that doesn't rely on hoofball, I'll go with Arsenal"

"Right" says the game host and asks the contestant to move onto ball 2 which he does and after a minute says " Gee God this ball feels well battered, scuffs, scratches, dents all over it. This has been booted and hoofed loads, I reckon this has been used by Stoke"

Again the contestant is right and moves onto ball 3 which he handles for about 2 seconds before saying " Oh this ones easy, it's West Brom"

Host asks "How did you get it so quick and easily"?

"Simple" he replies, "It's going down"

with a bit of luck arsenal can take points of liverpool, that will give Utd that extra little bit of breathing space in a hope that can finish it before the end of the season. It a real shame that they went into free fall

yeah im not quite sure what happened, one minute doing amazingly well (even scored 3 at old trafford :p ) but then suddenly nothing at all seemed to work (though it was probably more a case of teams not expecting that kind of play at all)

was gutted to v sunderland and middlesborough, felt they were both teams in same situation that could have gone either way with a bit of luck :/

Todays game is massive for Utd, I feel if Liverpool win, the title could be heading to Analfield, really cant seem them dropping another point, where as we still have Shitty to play who will do anything to stop us winning league also by time we play Arsenal no doubt they will have all players back.

Arsenal's teams vs Mancs and Chel$ki in the league will be decided by the CL outcome. if Villa keep dropping points they are not must win games so if we are in the CL final i can see us resting players tbh.

Liverpool are playing you at right time, they have had a weeks rest, you have injuries, players will be tired.

Villa arent even worth talking about, you could lose every game and will finish 4th now lol.

Still whatever team Wenger puts out it will put in a performance, draw will do me fine.

Scousers are applying a lot of early pressure, Arsenal do not seem quite right at the back, and I am worried by the number of attempts Torres is getting. Hoping Arse can hold on for at least a point here.

Feel dirty cheering Arse on in this game.

gooooooooooooooal.

Arshavin scored, fuck knows how. Arsenal where under huge pressure from Liverpool, but they have taken their one and only chance so far.

Cant see Liverpool not scoring in this game, Arsenal just havent got the team to hold out in my opinion. I really hope im wrong there, however a draw will be satisfactory for me.

not the most exciting game, but a couple bits of really good goalkeeping from the weekends screwup.

1st half Liverpool better side, but thats football.

2nd half more Liverpool push on could see Arsenal hitting them on break, no doubt Walcott will come on at some point.

Liverpool are dominating them. Do not know what Sagna was playing at with that "clearance", gifted away a goal.

Arsenals defence may be bad, however look at their midfield - none of the midfielders are moving at all. It must be frustrating not to be able to pass the ball to anybody.

Arshavin, teaching all those journalists who wrote him off a lesson.

Game on, great watching this.
