aye a hell of a lot of luck.. that torres chance would have bobbled in two weeks ago as that what the utd game was like. Hopefully their luck is lacking today and schwerzzer keeps a clean sheet

Hitting the woodwork on a couple occassions was poor finishing, not bad luck..

and you were lucky to get the result in the end, last minute and it came not from good play but from some pinball that sprung out to benny who finished great.

Fulham done a good job of frustrating Liverpool, who were fortunate to get the result in the end. But they dug deep. But it still a lucky goal (strike good, receiving ball luck)

Pressure is back on utd

A gifted keeper and a lot of luck :)

Just because fulham had good luck doesnt mean that liverpool had bad luck.

Fulham were lucky that Liverpool couldnt finish (header, should have scored not hit bar. Harder to miss. Torres, normally would score that not hit post, poor finish so good luck for fulham.. Header from the shot following corner, hmm not sure what to say about that, he took the shot away from possibly going in -needed to glance in a direction not get under - wont put this down to bad luck or poor finish - just happens as it hit at him)

But from liverpool point of view

Torres - poor finish nothing to do with bad luck (been lucky if it just snuck in because wasnt well hit)
Whoever diving-ish header - poor finish nothing to do with bad luck

Liverpool lacked the luck they had at some other points in past few weeks where things would go there way. So get with the program and remember, Fulham good luck does not equal Liverpool bad luck.

So has proven, no contradiction there, sorry to disappoint

*afraid cant stick around here for fun. Time to watch some Dollhouse and Smallville

I'm watching river plate playing right now. The referee is spraying a line with something that looks like whipper cream, whenever a team is putting up a wall Oo

yeah they really should start using that in all football, its a good idea. Stops the wall encroaching as theres a bloody great line on the grass.

I think its currently on trial in certain leagues atm.

hehe, I just love the mentally over there. Racings manager just threw the ball away when a river player was about to pick up the ball for a throw in. The river play then pushed him back into the bench, and the referee didn't give a flying fuck :) I can't see that happen to either Ferguson or Mourinho.

I'm just glad my beloved Arsenal are back to form. Totally dominated what could have been a difficult game. 4th spot looking more secure now.

4th spot is not safe enough yet we still have to play Mancs Liverppol and Chel$ki thats potentially 9 points they could get over us. I feel dirty in wanting the Mancs to win today.

I watched a Copa Libertadores game a couple of years back and one of the players punched the opposing manager in the face, and everytime a corner was taken the riot police had to shield the taker with their riot shields. Was certainly entertaining. :)

Suicidal defending by United so far. :( Our bench is shocking today as well, makeshift defence and a bench full of reserves. :(

I hope mancs win, even as a Chelsea fan. Even the shittest bit of hope has turned every scouser into arrogant glory singers, with loads of them popping up out of no where. I dont think i could take that bullshit on the scale it would be if they won.

Saying that i still think they have a very miniscule chance of winning, and still expect us to finish 2nd.

I can't believe we fielded the 'vanilla midgets' as a centre back pairing, you can get away with one but as a pair they just aren't physical enough.

The ref is giving everything to United, wouldn't be surprised if you get a "phantom" penalty in the second half.

Bleh. Great performance from the Villa, didn't deserve to lose that. Five minutes of injury time my arse.
