Thank you Vile for making my day.

Watch the look on M'ON's face when they loose to stoke this weekend. Seriously, extremely bad move for Villa, go for the trophy/silverware not for a 4th place finish that noone will give a rats ass about and a CL run that will be ended in the prelim qualifiers, combustion inc i feel. Id be furious if i was a Villa fan though, throwing away a good chance of silverware like that just for a finish id consider unacceptable. and wth, can't these players play more then 90minutes a weak? are they lacking that much fitness?

180 minutes a week, constantly for 38 weeks in an extremely physical league. Hell some weeks you be playing 270mins+ in a 7 day span especially around this time of the season.

most players be fit enough to do it, but the body will be worn down and more prone to injury, and at this stage for a club that hasnt got strength in depth it extremely important to minimize the injury risk

I think if we did qualify for the Champions League you'd see us make some moves in the transfer market for a better quality of player and also make moves to build a squad.

Our squad is piss poor really, it is amazing how we've done as well as we have in the league.

I am disappointed by the decision to drop the UEFA but I do understand it. The money from the Champions League will help our club to grow ... winning the European equivalent of the league cup wouldn't attract either the money or the type of player who thrives on the Champions League.

Hull really need to get something out of the game this weekend or its looking really bad for the run in. Hopefully the (very) lucky win over Sheffield Utd might give them a bit of confidence going into the game.

Hoping Tottenham win on Sunday as well.

if arsenal dont get their act in gear they might have to worry about Everton catching up! Tim Cahill seems to be scoring from set-pieces nearly every game now! :p

I guess with Liverpool losing and chelsea most likely secured in their win.. the big question of the current matches are:

Can Arsenal get yet another 0-0 Draw :D

edit: i spoke too soon. Go Wigan

Amazing! lol If Villa can (please, please, please) get a win tomorrow we can go 8 points ahead of you boys. You can moan about us being lucky all you like but Arsenal have been awful this season, Wenger has got it wrong big time.

But if he wants to keep putting it down to injuries that is fine with the rest of the league. The man who was legendary for his ability to put his finger on the pulse of the league has lost his way I'm afraid. A team made up of small technical footballers will not win a league these days, or even get you in the top two or three.

2 wins on the bounce for the mighty saints to take us to the heady heights of third from bottom.

Being lucky with injurys is not a bad thing i dont get why people get upset about having luck

*Not saying the players out are the only reason we are doing badly*

My point was if you were missing your versions of the below were all out.
Rosicky Adebayor Fabregas Walcott Eduardo

Thats 5 players out who could all make a difference no one disagrees we need a tough tackling midfielder but wenger has not lost his way

Always injured.

Out of form and/or favour all season.

A good player for sure, but was looking very tired and certainly not firing before his injury.

Has still played more football than Carew has for us, and Carew is a bigger part of how we play.

Also a big miss, he was looking like a quality striker last season. But don't forget we've been missing our first choice left back all season and our captain for months. We've had our share of injuries too.
