Most important though is that Copenhagen is back on top of the league after a derby beating Brøndby on away grounds :D

Fookin' Yam Yams :m00:

Was certainly a shocking last two minutes against Stoke but feck we played well before that. Two contenders for our best goals of the season, and we've had some crackers.

I think Arsenal are the favourites now but, even if we drop to sixth, it has been a stonking league season and gives me lots of hope for next season.

Sounds like your getting an attack of the flappy arse Arsenal match Villa in 2 games not beat match and you say we are favorites, wheres all your confidence gone? If we don't start scoring soon we might be out of the Uefa.

I'm as confident as one ever is of my team, which has underachieved for about 10 years ;) Winning is a habit, hopefully we can get back into the groove soon. Man City away will be very difficult but the players need to believe.

I still think Arsenal are under more pressure than us, the longer the media write us off the better.

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink is determined to halt Manchester United's quest for five trophies this season in a rallying cry reminiscent of Kevin Keegan's outburst during Newcastle's 1996 title battle. (Various)
(from beeb)

Guess the bbc have little faith in Guus Hiddink if they already comparing it to Newcastle in '96 :p

That is not their story though, it's in the gossip column, so it is from other media sources.

That Albion side are one of the worst teams to ever play in the Premier League. No attack and no defence. I wouldn't put too much store in that result.

A point tomorrow at City for the Villa would be fabulous, particularly as it is hardly one of our happy hunting grounds. Although arithmetically our advantage might have slipped it would be an excellent result and give us a basis to compete.

Still think Arsenal are favourites, but they are also the ones with the pressure on.

Your arse is really going you're trying to trick yourself into believing that so if you dont hold on you can say it was expected!

3-1 and sounds like we dominated the second half and arshshavin had another good and dangerous game so 3 points are 3 points ;)

Hearing the pundits talking about chel$ki sounds wrong claiming all the players are trying much harder under the new boss, shocking to think it was them being lazy got the guy the sack

yeah could be interesting to see the summer transfers if Hiddink stays doubt he'll tolerate any rubbish and could be trying to ship out the lazy boys (unless of course they put effort in for him! :p )

bah Hulls ground is ace, lots of room for expansion! (especially cos the surrounding area is quite scummy and could do with a bit of demolishing :D ) also its right next to a hospital so if Millwall ever visit again the injured peeps from the riots can be taken to A&E quickly :p

Not that, we never seem to do anything good vs you lot. :D. In all fairness, renewed faith in our promotion push today after last nights win.

Heh, no Hospital near for us, just the ***** known as West Midlands Police to cause trouble, last sunday shutting down the whole town just b/c Cardiff came to town was ridiculous.

After last night i still really hope that WBA stay up as at least they play decent football if they go down and some crap shit kicker 4-6-0 team stay up it will be a shame.

Problem with WBA is, they play good passing football, but cannot defend well enough for the premier league. Their attack is ineffectual without Phillips. They chose not to spend money and are paying for it. The quality of players they have is just not good enough to play the way they do against top class opposition.

Very true can tell most of the team are decent championship players but not cut out for the PL. Maybe if they stay up this year they will invest in the squad.

They have no hope, the way Mowbry is talking it seems the board have already resigned themselves to going down, and rebuilding in the championship next year.

I can half understand, football is messy these days, and clubs are going down left right and centre. Better to protect what you have and get the maximum cash out of the league without committing any spending.

true, i mean they do get the £30 mill odd plus the parachute payments means they should be well set financially to battle back up again :p

they will get a nice parchute payoff for falling out the prem, that there will be a good amount of money for them considering that not really incurred any extra costs from coming up. I can see teams like WBA becoming a yo-yo prem team. Keep popping up in the league then going back down again.

Cant blame them for not spending, as they need to spend alot to get up to a prem standard and it just isnt worth risking it in current economical climate.

Biggest mistake the sh1t made was letting Phillips go, he has carried Brum this season, without him they would be flaundering in middle-table. Albion last season were simply a class above the most (and this pains me to admit), but they have been horrid in the Prem which has me sort of gutted as to go up vs them with the highest of stakes would have been something.

They did the same thing we did when we went up, choose not to invest big and rely on the players that served last season (i'm adamant had Lescott and Murray not had year long injuries we would have stayed up), had they heavily invested like Stoke and Hull have they would be looking at staying up.

It is a media myth that Albion play good football. They pass the ball from defence to midfield and back again. No end product, no defence.

The Villa are playing utter crap tonight, they need to sort themselves out. Sheesh.
