and all because Babel cant score from 3yrds with an open goal. Lol. Even Keane would have finished that.... and rafa said that Babel and Ngog be fine covering upfront![]()
I seem to remember an identical miss by Keane tbh![]()
aye, but i put odds on keane scoring the next one, it hard to miss them twice![]()
"Liverpool Cannot win the title with their current squad, not in a million years. You cannot just rely on 3 or 4 players throughout a season, and Liverpool are doing that, if you look at Man Utd they have; Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez." Tim Sherwood.
He is right though. We can only assume Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez were just the beginnings of a much longer list (e.g. Berbatov, Giggs, Scholes, Carrick, Vidic, Ferdinand...) and even you know that. Just because he made a slight error it doesn't destroy his argument.
End of the day as much as I want Utd to win the league, it's great seeing Villa gatecrash the "top 4", also Everton are pushing Arsenal for 5th place!
Next season I can see City also pushing on, so there could be 7 or 8 teams challenging for 4 places..
Why is everyone glad Arsenal are having a bad time we are one of the few teams that do things right, its all our own money we develop youth rather than buying talent (obvious exceptions) and we play better football than the majority and yet everyone seems ecstatic we have hit shit form.

Because wherever i seem to go, every Arsenal fan bleats on about playing the best football and develop youth rather than buying superstars. At the end of the day if it means you cannot challenge for honours then quite frankly it is futile.

Andrei Arshavin £12 million (?)
Thierry Henry £10.5 million
José Antonio Reyes £10.5 million
Robert Pires £7 million
Marc Overmars £6 million
Just because some clubs (eg Villa and Man City) have recently splurged whilst Arsenal did it a few years ago doesn't mean you've not benefited from spending big.
Spending big when you did raised the profile of your club and allowed you to pick up quality younger players that wouldn't consider other clubs.
EDIT: I have no particular beef with Arsenal although the number of foreign players in their squad and Mr "I did not see the incident" Wenger get on my tits. But I think the best think about the current make-up of the top four is a change to the status quo.
