I'm pleased :)

The chase for 7th and the relegation battles were exciting today, if Liverpool take the foot of the gas against west brom tomorrow it could make for a very interesting last weekend.

Hmm.... not sure who will get that 7th spot now, spurs have an easier tie against liverpool who will be chasing nothing, than fulham who will be playing everton trying to secure 5th.

Liverpool still haven't guranteed 2nd, if they lose against Spurs and we put a few past Sunderland then we can nick it.

Soze, I agree with the principle of "not buying the league" (though i refuse to accept man utd done that when you look at the fact they got alot of their old players still there - and like arsenal got decent young players that they making world class).

My rant was not meant to say you did buy it, but lots of arsenal board want us to take the Russians money to buy players we can already afford but Wenger does not want.

Grats on the league I'm glad we gave a good showing of ourselves we needed that as Arsenal fans to not end the season with another CL game. And as long as Evera does not miss the CL final injured I'm glad he got the shit clogged out of him the cheeky prick.

Hahaha, pathetic Scousers always find new excuses but one day they will completely run out of ammo have to accept the FACT that they are no longer top dog. They need to learn to show some class like Wenger and his team did yesterday.

Good old Sky repeating the mantra that West Brom play good football. Yes they can pass the ball but they make very, very few goalscoring chances against Premier League defenders and have a black hole in place of their own defence.

I'd have liked to see them stay up but guess we'll have to console ourselves by sending Newcastle and their army of fat geordies down.

They play entertaining football but don't finish. Stoke play shit football and finish a few more i know who i would rather watch.

West Brom were a bit hard done by in that match, i felt. But they seem to have taken relegation in their stride, guess they're used to it.

Hoping Anelka gets a few goals and Lampard gets his 20th of the season again :)

So what, when will people realise it's results that matter in terms of survival first season in prem, sandwell are on there way back down for playing the way they have, Stoke are staying up by a large margin for playing the way they have, i know which set of fans are happier.

That does not change who i would rather watch every week.

sometimes arsenal have problem that they dont have any other way to play due to their type of players. They all small and so dont get in the box for crosses. Ade and bendtner are only ones that any real use in the air against CBs

WBA arent great to watch anyways. they do some nice passing but nothing in the last 1/3rd of the field. it all done really around the halfway line.

And this everybody is why Arsenal haven't won a trophy in 4 seasons

I have never understood this attitude maybe its because im a laid back guy with an ego that does not need to be stroked by being number one. But I would rather watch arsenal play good football and win nothing than see us play like Stoke just to win the league.

With a fully fit Eduardo ready for next season we should be more ruthless in front of goal anyway, I'm not sure what will happen with strikers in the summer now it sounds like Ade might be leaving. Maybe Vela will get some more time on the field or maybe we will buy.

I saw a comment on BBC saying that it only takes one or two great signings to propel a team to success and that comment is absolutely spot on. IF Wenger makes those signings then with the talent he has already (with other established players such as Van Persie, Fabregas and the sublime Arshavin) then I can consider them serious title contenders.

I think Chelsea will be better contenders for the title if they play the way they have done so under Hiddink too. If Ronaldo and Tevez leave I can see United not winning it, although when Hargreaves returns that will be a massive boost.

Next season will be interesting.

So you would be happy to see Arsenal relegated all the way to conference (not saying it will happen, but hypothetically) if they played good football? Come off it you idiots, i've said it once and ill say it again, i can guarantee Stoke fans do not care at all about how there team has played this season as they know they have achieved something.

Again, seems like an Arsenal fan clinging on to the 'we play good football excuse' after another season of disappointment.

Dunno bout you but i actually enjoy the game, winning isn't everything. Ofcourse it is nice to win something every now and again but not like we're the only team not to of won something in the last couple years.

Yes i would still pay for my season ticket if Arsenal were relegated but then again I'm a fan of a team not a fan of silverware. And calling people Idiots because they like entertainment over points is stupid.

And i can't speak for Stoke fans just myself.

I understand good football to the point, but for a side coming up such as Stoke, WBA etc, it doesn't matter how you play aslong as you stay up, i have alot of baggies supporting mate and trust me they do not care less that they play nice football, there more annoyed at the fact that there going straight back down. Arsenal will be guaranteed prem football no matter what they play like, thats a fact, so there able to play good football.

I support my team, but if we had to play ugly to win the league or play beautiful to finish mid-table i know which i would saviour, noone is going to remember the season when Arsenal were so sublime to watch, but they didnt do anything with it, they'll remember the season that they won the league, fa cup, cl etc etc.

Maybe it because winning silverware could mean more to us then you (a club that has won it regularly)?

Maybe but also I'm not driven by a need to be number one might alter my thinking. If the football is good I'm happy if we win the league even better but if we do not win the league in the next 3 years i still would not want to play like stoke.

I never said I have a problem with Stoke playing the way they do to stay in the league just that i would rather West Brom stay up as they play football the way i like.

I could but the shirts they wear are ugly. (Thats about all i can think off except shut up;))
