he wont let his misses drive, and has slagged them before... didnt he say something in his autobiography?

The nerves are now setting in for todays game... is going to be a tough game but hopefully the lads can do it at old trafford. Make a nice change winning it there.

this a very good arsenal performance, they winning the midfield battle quite easily and that giving them some great possession and they creating lots of space. Utd really need to get a grip on this game soon or can see Arsenal ruining the party

man utd playing for a draw which is very unlike us... guess cant blame them but still dodgy to do against arsenal.

im hoping arsenal get a player sent off soon, lol. So many silly bookings going on as always with mike dean. but toher then that nothing to look at.

walcott could change this match though if he is on form

This isnt paper talk Chetan, but Eto is looking likely to move to Chelsea in the summer, to finance a deal for David Villa! He didnt just meet with Man City officials, but also met Peter Kenyon.

Drogba on his way then?

Woot woot. CHAMPIONS!!!

3 times in a row. A rarity (2001 we got the 3 times in a row as well iirc)

that was a very nervy game, especially last few minutes.

0-0 isnt the result we wanted to do it with, and performance wasnt great, though done well from about 25yrds out and back.

Been a really tough season this year, and once again we gave everyone a head start at the beginning of the season. It great to win it at OT and just wish i could have been there :(

Been a great season to be fair. The league has been so competitive and so tight, both at top and the bottom.. (hmm who to watch next with the bottom of the league being priority now). The league as a whole more competitive with lower teams taking points where you never seen them do it before.

Lets hope we can do what no other team has done before and defend our Champ League trophy, be good to be the first team to win it 2 years in a row in its current format.

Hull now got a lifeline.... can see the lineup being:

Foster
Rafael, Evans, Random defender (possibly rio if he needs a 45minute run out), Fabio
Nani, Scholes, Fletcher, welback/Tosic
Macheda, Berbatov (possibly tevez)

Still a strong lineup but gets alot of players a rest ahead of the big game 3 days later.

I hope not, hopefully Hiddink will convince the board that he should not be sold.

Admittedly his outburst the other week was not good for his credentials, but Drogba is irreplaceable and based upon Eto'o's performance against us over two legs, it would be a shoddy replacement.

Also if theres any truth in these Adebayor rumours i will give up on my club :(

haha benetiz going on about the money man utd spending on players again... then you see the list of players and money spent.

Man utd focused their money. 3 players for approximately £37m (berbatov, Tosic, Ljajic)

Liverpool spent about £31m so not much difference. However he spent it on 5 or 6 players....

clearly mmoney isnt the issue, it is how it is spent.

I think the point he is trying to make, is that United already have a good squad. Therefore, they can spend big money on one or 2 players, whilst the Factman has to spend it on more than a couple of players in order to strengthen his squad. However, you cant blame united for that, because they have spent, or brought through players wisely. I read somewhere that since Benitez has been in charge, nearly 50 players who he has bought have left the club!

Drogba always ran the risk of being on way out this season as shown a very poor attitude alot of times (ie start of season refused to play for manager then saw one he liked come in and suddenly plays well)

Eto for Villa, now that is a bloody great deal. Villa is up and comming, Eto looks to have peaked and possibly hitting his decline.

I can actually see Eto at Man City if they dont go for Tevez (speaking of which i think the fans made a rather strong point to Fergi when tevez subbed... though knowing fergi that encourage him not to make a deal. lol)

I wonder if any player will ever win as many premier league medals as Ryan Giggs.

Put it this way, Villa is nailed on to join us in the summer. However, we dont have a wealthy owner to finance the deal so we need to sell. Eto is ooc at the end of next season and we cant risk him leaving on a free. He has offers from City and Chelsea, but Chelsea's is the one he likes best.

Gratz to Man U (already said it like 100000000 times) but now my weight of support goes to Everton (yea, I dare say it) for the FA cup.

TBH, I think its time for Drogba to go. Chelsea rely on him too much. If drogab plays well, so do Chelsea. They cant keep going on like this and they need to learn to function without the reliance on Drogba.

Eto is quality. Dont judge him on a couple of games.

Yeah i read that somewhere. I just can't see how Drogba, Anelka and Eto'o would all fit in the same system. Anelka will do the wide-job without fuss but Eto seems like he'll end up sulking and disrupting the team if he's not played in the middle.

It wouldn't suprise me though if we got rid of Drogba, Peter Kenyon is hardly the sharpest knife in the draw. Eto is too old for my liking as well, the last thing we need is a striker whos nearly 30.

Benetiz squad is his own doing. If he had spent wisely he have a world class squad throughout. Their squad is insane in size (havent they played something like 40 different players in the reserves?).

If instead of spent little amount on many players he actually focused on key areas they could have had a great team inside 4/5 years. This has been uniteds key strength. Yes it helped that we had a lovely bases due to having giggs, scholes, neville etc having come through youth but it still why we managed to get such a strong squad.

Benitez is not good in the transfer market, never has been. This is why Liverpool havent managed to get ahead of the game. hopefully he look at what buying Torres done for the club and a ctually understand it better to spend big on a few instead of normal policy.

I hope Man Utd give one the extra medals to Macheda... he scored key key goals for us to have the title. 2 goals won us 4 points extra. If you take them out the account then the league wouldnt be in the bag.... and also it may have meant we wouldnt be in right mindset to go on the great run in that we have (7 wins and a draw in last 8)

Grats to manu, we all knew it was going to happen. Bit of a disappointing way to win it imo, playing for the draw was pretty boring :(

queue the "its our year next year" from liverpool fans

ye totaly agree unfortunatly :< heard he wants to sell alonso to finance another bigger bid for gareth barry,

so sell a 27 year old who's just had a absoluly blinding season for like 12 mill to sign a 29 year old who's had a fairly average season for 20 million... REALLY????

and its not liek we even need another DM/CM we need a qaulity right winger and another top striker
