Yeah :( i have my fingers crossed for a mass brawl meaning 4 players from each team get sent off so the game is called off and no one gets any points.

How crap were Blackburn. They couldn't even kick the Arsenal players properly, bunch of wimps!

Sounds like Theo ran them ragged we really need to tie up his new contract as soon as and stop another Flamini situation happening.

if they can win game in hand man utd still have that 7 point lead though, pretty shocking result though not what i expected at all! (but then after beating R. Madrid i suppose confidence was sky high :) )

glad to see title race still alive and kicking though! :) and hull got a point woo (and Geo scored too maybe he can start scoring more wonder goals now :D )

Hopefully that will be a reality check today, we aren't as good as the media make us out to be.

A defeat has been on the cards for weeks now, Blackburn/Newcastle/Inter 2nd leg all games have made our defence look average at times.

Sad thing today is you never like getting hammered by your fiercest rivals.

Squad will have to show real character now and bounce back!

credit to phelan... refused to blame anyone but ourselfs for the loss today and did not try to make excuses.... so many teams try blaming someone else after such a result.

on another note, good result for Arsenal.. infact it was a good weekend for the number of goals so far.. lets hope villa get a handfull tomorrow and chelsea get none in their match (hey i can hope - even though cant remember who they playing.

Man City, the team who have won once away from home all season and returned from Stamford Bridge last season having had 6 put past them at the hands of Avram :D

well.. united had 55% position, they had the area position advantage as well (ie we had more possession in the attacking areas). We had more shots prior to the sending off, etc etc. A 1-4 scoreline really didnt reflect the game.

That said, Man utd didnt actually make any real chances in the whole game that i can remember, and Liverpool took almost all the chances they created.

So in short:
Fergi is correct, scoreline didnt reflect teh actual game.
However. Man Utd didnt actually deserve to get a result out of the game, and it pains me to say it :s

Shame, Pedersen used to be a good player but he seems to have gone down the pan in recent seasons.

that was the best dive ever i laughed so much when i saw it and when they showed the replays on the panel on motd they all started laughing aswell, was a beauty......

i persoanly think dossena's goal was the best ok, i didnt matter it was 92 mins and 3-1 but to race on the end of that ball and hit it first time with that sort of accuracy to lob the keeper is something a top striker does not a left back lol ^^

Oh man I am so hungover, I was at the match yesterday and got annihilated down the pub later on I was so pissed off.

Anyway, fair play to the Scousers, we defended really badly yesterday but no excuses they finished when they had to and well deserved the win. I am just glad it happened now while we had a nice big cushion of points and not at the end of April when things might be tighter as that could have really knocked us for six.

Vidic and Evra had shockers, Evra I expected it of as he has been very poor in recent weeks but Vidic left me dumbfounded as he was constantly indescisive and out of position a number of times. Ahh well, we all have bad days I guess, if we win the league it won't be such a bitter pill to swallow.

What can I say? Watched it in the social club here in Liverpool, Fantastic game for both sides, but couldn't help thinking that Man U got wtfpwned, and everyone in the club was rofl when our worst defender (Dossena) scored the last goal. Deserved chorus of who the fuck are Man United in the club from the locals. But that's not the end of the story here and I expect a close race from now to the end of the season with Man U winning it. My team have made far too many mistakes this season and the league position shows it.

A thoroughly enjoyable week of footy from my perspective, couldn't have asked for more on this tbh :)

chelsea looking to take the 2nd place back from liverpool though, glad its not a one horse race leading in to end of season (and lets be honest if the result had gone other way with man utd winning 4-1 instead of loosing 1-4 it would have been :p )

oh and that dive was absurd, he looked back to see the player behind him and check the angle the ref had for gods sake :p should be fined for that!

andy johnson had a great game for Fulham too, i love that guy hes so funny (and bald)

Essien back and showing the Chelsea luck :D what a complete miscued shot, lol. That said Man City offered nothing whole game and chelsea deserved the win.

Villa losing to spurs currently, and villa are all over them. Unbelievable that they not managed to pull the game back after some awful goalkeeping in first 5 minutes.
