I don't doubt Wenger and the Arsenal scouts are great at finding and grooming class players, i think we can all agree on that. What i won't agree on is the rubbish Azurus was posting regarding Arsenals position in the league.
I never said any of that though i know we are where we are because we lack consistancy but like i said earlier Wenger has been doing alot of work on playing agaist the hard teams so we will see how well it has worked when we play Bolton.

Problem with Arse fans you don't half go over the top with some of the young players you have had.

Owusu-Abeyie is an example, i remember him playing in a few Carling Cup games, and he scored. The reaction was he will be the next Henry. LOL

Aliadere is another, has been loaned out to how many clubs? has 1 good game against a poor Liverpool team and you get the usual over the top reaction.
Every club dose that when a youngster gets him self noticed. If Man U played a young striker yesterday that scored you would be hailing him as the future of England. We just seem to do it more as our young players get exposed in the carling cup ect some one notices them and starts to speculate

Reason why you get noticed more is because you make a big deal over it.

All these youngsters you have played over the years in the carling cup, how many have actually gone on to be first team squad players?

I agree its inconsistency to blame for your league position and not the squad, some weeks you played great, the next rubbish.

I am sorry but I have to agree with Soze. While other bring them up through the ranks or not Wenger and Arsenal are taking risk with these young players and as far as I am concerned have been the best team in the passed 5 years for bringing youngsters through.

Cole, Toure, Senderos, Fabregas, Eboue, Clichy. Look at the lads on loan at Birmingham Larrsson and Bedtner very worthy youngster that will make the grade no doubt. Someone mentioned Alliadiere he has the ability which he proved against Liverpool, only he can put the effort in every match.

Just wait till John Paul Kissock gets his call up to the Everton first team. Rated head and shoulders, the best young player of his generation :D And hes a natural left winger!

Oh its nailed on mate. Hes already said he wants to stay at Everton for life and would resist any offers from bigger clubs. Remember, once a blue always a blue eh?

I doubt Pique is going to make the grade to be honest but hopefully he will prove me wrong. Evans is looking like he could develop into a first team player in the next 2-3 years but time will tell. As for Rossi, he needs to have a great loan spell at Parma or otherwise I fear he will be spending next season out on loan as well.

:D If that is how he feels then alot depends on how Everton progress I would imagine, if they don't get regular european football in next 3-4 years then I am sure he will be off if he is good enough and the big teams with big money come knocking.

Giuseppe Rossi was thrilled to grab the winning goal for Parma against Torino in his first match since moving to Italy on loan.

Giuseppe Rossi marked a sensational Parma debut with the only goal in a 1-0 win over Torino. The Italian U21 striker, who was outstanding throughout, beat four defenders before hammering in his late strike

:D Nicely done sonshine :D
