"He is sometimes stated to have been Prime Minister, for the shortest term ever (two days) in 1746, although most modern sources reckon that he cannot be considered to have held the office."

I was going from a proper list! I think if BoJo went in less than 119 days he'd be considered the shortest term.

Voters reject... being a survey of people (unknown quantity) that possibly originally voted. Seem to clutching at straws somewhat. Seems they will print anything that even hints at a negative. I get that it's a shit show but at this stage I don't see any reasonable way forward, other than keeping the money until we get a deal worth signing.

"However, an Independent fact check found no reference to voters being told, three years ago, that a vote for Leave was a vote to crash out of the EU with no agreement, if necessary."

Thanks for the chuckle though.

How about a referendum on no deal.

As it's been said 100000 times before, the Brexit vote was NOT on a no-deal Brexit, all the Brexit camps were saying there will not be a no deal.

They all said we’d get a better deal because they need us more than we need them.

We dont want a no deal..its brinkmanship.

Do you seriously think the countries of Europe are going to let the EU allow a no deal with its equal 2nd biggest economy?

I mean seriously...wtf are people going on about.

Yes. Absolutely. They won't destroy the single market just to allow the UK to have its cake and eat it.

Also, bluffs are shit when you keep saying they are bluffs.

Does that mean that you agree with a second referendum if we get to October 31st and we don't have a deal?

The problem of course is all the airtime given to the cowards.

Its hard to strike deals when half your group is running around shouting.
'They have the upper hand..were all going to die..give them what they want...they know best..were just idiots.

If they didn't it wouldn't matter what anyone said or says in public ;)

Playing a shit hand at poker when you’ve already revealed you have a pair of sevens is not the fault of the person who points out that you’re actually playing chess.

Absolutely not..that would be an epic disaster, apart from the hilarity of going back ...if it went to remain...with cap in hand and then getting royally shafted.
The remoamers would be letting Europe down and Britains world standing would destroyed.

Why would we be shafted? We would move on like it was a nightmare.

You posted a poll saying everyone wants a no deal, you complain about the EU shafting us because we're split on the issue.

So surely having another referendum and confirming the no deal is precisely what we need?

Or is it because you know you're chatting shit and a no deal would be shafted?

Because it costs a couple of thousands of pounds.

Theresa gave people a couple of years to decide, Boris is giving them a couple of weeks.

He's just playing to scum bags like you.

He is trying to bully the EU into a new deal but they will not bend to his foolishness.

I hope they are bigger than the UK and don’t displace the UK citizens living in E.U.

Sorry - I brought it up as our lack of class ages ago and you laughed it off. Now you're behind it.

Your stance changes on a daily basis.

I was thinking this, I'm sure Job was saying that it wouldn't happen and we'd be as fair as the EU.

I'm not saying that we should have indefinite open borders to Europeans, I understand that it's one of the reasons why we had Brexit.

But after having a Government that promised that people have 2ish years to make that decision, they now have 1 and a half months.

Obviously the reality of this is that nothing really will happen, I can't see a Government that's going to be in tatters deporting Europeans, it simply won't be a priority.

But it has a massive impact on lots of European families that have settled in the UK and now have to make very important decision which effects every aspect of their life.

The EU puts humans and their lives above politics, the Brexiteer Tory party is using it as ammunition, it's pathetic.

I think you have a much more charitable view of things than I have. I think this is exactly the kind of thing the Tories will make a priority to appeal to the rabble.

Not just the rabble - I've been really alarmed by the number of very well off people who've been increasingly vocalising shit against immigrants of all sorts.

Of course - the common thing about all these people is that they live in 99.9% white areas and never worked alongside ethnic minorities...

Yes..they are called the liberal elite.

Down here in Salcombe and the whole of the South Hams...middle and upper class liberals, who live in white enclaves and holiday in massive white bubbles.
I havent seen a brown person all week outside of the Indian takeaway.

Its the classic Northen working class who are derived by you who are mixing with immigrants and slowly and painfully forming friendships and common ground.
While the conductors of the experiment build gated communities and tell everyone else not to.

Full..of..fucking...bull..shit.

Like Harry/Megan 3 jet flights eco warriors.

They're all rabble as far as I'm concerned.
