Its spin. Go and look at the OECD source data, looks great until you see the outflows are nearly as large. Then go and look at the UK category data and compare it to...well, anywhere else. The UK FDI is all share trades or banking deposits, and then go and look at the historic data and you realise this is just the stock market being the stock market; the UK's FDI shape is pretty much always like this. When you look at other countries' FDI it's in things and buildings and manufacturing, in the UK it's just volume of trades driven by volatility. So you can certainly take comfort that the stock market still works, but fuck all else.
Regardless of the new liberal nihilist message of racists turning the UK into a pariah of the world.
We are still the point blank centre of Europe.
In every respect..in every measurement.

What does that first sentence even mean ffs.

An over-inflated sense of self-importance is one of the reasons the country is in such a mess in the first place.

You really did not take in a word I wrote yesterday. The only education you have apart from plumbing and heating is the education given to you by nationalistic websites and the daily express. These people you insult have educated themselves by looking at facts and figures and establishing a reasoned point of view whether it be pro or not. Your view is worthless as it is unsubstantiated bullshit.

You really think that their utterly unbalanced and highly negative agenda is the result of facts and experience.
Its the spouting of anger and spite, they like every single kther economist on the planet..has no fucking idea what will happen, because if they did they would be betting their houses on it.
They are pandering to an agenda to massively overstate the problems in the hope a 2nd referendum will be called and it will swing their way.

All you are doing is repeating the mainstream propaganda like a good little drone.

How am I a drone please explain yourself? I was lucky enough to come from a background of inherited wealth on my fathers side and earned wealth on my mothers side, I was sent to private school and was given an awesome education. From that one would assume that I was right wing and all for the UK leaving europe as my parrents (before they evolved) and grandparents would have wanted before me. However, I was also brought up to work hard (any money borrowed from my parents had to be paid back with interest because that "young lady" is life) and that I could achieve anything as long as I did work hard.

Due to a few unfortunate events (post convent rebellion) and wasting all the advantages I had been given I had to start again. I worked my way from "shop floor" in a factory to Finance Director in one of the biggest organisations in the world (over 180k employees) without ANY help from my parents, I lived from day to day due to a very low salary and sometimes I went hungry - I know that i could probably have asked my parents for help so yes, unlike people who do not come from the same background as me I could have always found away out BUT I am not built that way.

Whilst on that journey that started some 30 years ago I have met people from all walks of life from all over the world and like to think that I can understand most peoples positions in life and through education and experiences I have developed a policitcal view that is far removed from that poor little rich girl 30 years ago... I live in a country where the "right wing" parties (excl single view anti immigration parties) are left of the UKs current labour party and in the last election I voted for a middle of the road party (which tries to help small businesses) - I have seen and witness every day the benefits of higher taxation (quality of roads, public transport, national health, childcare, looking after the old, pensions etc) and contribution made by companies towards social costs (31,42% of salaries) compared with the UK so much so that should anything happen (redundancy, sickness) I am assured that I will recieve 80% of my salary until i am able to work again.

As I was given the opporutnity to live in this awesome country, I actively encourage an open and engaging workplace when I am recruiting for my department giving others the same opportunity that I was given as I find it enriches the working environment when cultures are mixed up a bit and everyone develops when it happens.

When I read your posts I am constantly reminded of all the reasons I left the UK. You @Job only give a shit about yourself and your own view point and unfortunately what you are trying to do by name calling and using words you obviously do not understand won't work here... we are not members of "the Job Youth", you have no influence here or haven't you understood that?

I liked the part where Job said everyone else's point of views is based on hate.

Ah yes, "anger and spite", the bedrock on which the Leave campaign was built.

I care about my country and its history because all the EU offers is enslavement to global corporations, loss of identity and identikit pan european culture of PC conformity.
Im glad you have found nirvana, why are you even bothered.

hahahahahah sorry but your focus on me going to a "private" school is your take away from my post. You continue to fail to answer any question I have asked you? Do you need me to phrase them more simply

"What facts do you have to counter people giving their reasoned view on the forum?"
"Explain why I am a drone?"

Until you can answer them then I will continue to assume your inability to develop your own point of view and using insults to deflect is not your fault but just due to the restricted gene pool you were born in to.

Using insults and then uses one.

A certain part of your personality which you try to hide keeps leaking out.
All of my family went to private school actually, luckily my dad rejected the family pressure and moved to cornwall and brought me up there.
Im saying that you default to the establishment narative, you give no time whatsoever to the notion brexit could be anything but a disaster, you are swayed in your outlook, not by facts, but by by the popular approach in your circles,.the assumed stance.

When you have the ex Bank of England head saying brexit will be a tiny blip, you ignore it.
Brexit is a tiny blip in the economy over a ten year period, there are much bigger problems than sorting out trade.
Im not saying you are wrong to fear disaster, you just never give success a chance and attack me for even suggesting it..like I'm undermining britains obvious demise.

Still not answering @Yoni's (repeated) questions there @Job.

@Yoni - I've traied that before. He can't answer and wouldn't if he could anyway.

I have lost interest until he answers my questions although i retract the gene pool comment as he has stated that one of his parents isn't Cornish. Looks like nurture wins out where Job is concerned...

Well neither of my parents are cornish.
But I'll ignore your clear sight racism against the Cornish...poor gene pool eh?
And people call me xenophobic.
What exactly do you want me to say that you are correct in assuming doom?
You may or may not be, just fricking acknowledge their are many people with experience in the chaos of politics and trade who think its no big deal.

Like a good chunk of the conservative and labout party.

I think the main gripe that I have with you is that if it all goes tits up, you'll blame Remainers and their negativity, not Brexit.

Whats up with Corbyn?
Does he not like the EU?
Is he not reading the right newspapers?
It's almost as if the EU being a both liberal conspiracy and a capitalist-corporatist-club couldn't be true at the same time.

Yes..they sell it as liberal nirvana while selling out to capitalism by importing worker drones and destroying individuality under the guise of multiculturilism to keep the status quo.
That being keeping the rich rich.

I do believe I have said this all along.
Kind of adjusts the media/remainer bullshit about johnny foreigner hating Britain.
Well the continent is worse.

Britons most positive in Europe on benefits of immigration

The Guardian said:
British people are more persuaded of the benefits of immigration than any other major European nation, according to a global survey, which has also found that almost half of Britons think immigrants are either positive or neutral for the country.

So more than half don't. Like say, 52% of the population who are xenophobic Brexiteer moronic cunts?

Jean-Claude Juncker: Europeans have lost 'libido' for each other

J-CJ said:
Juncker added: “Brexit is a special case. If you pepper a nation for 40 years with the message that it doesn’t actually belong in the EU, then the decision to leave is the logical outcome. The bride was systematically reviled and then rejected.”

Seems pretty on the money to me.
