With Spring and summer on it's way, I'm curiouse to know,
so, the grill is perfect, the salads are ready, the wine/beer/cider is opened
and the baked potatos are ready......

Now then, given a free choice, what do you throw on to the bbq

1- The Seafood

2- The White Meats "pork chops, chicken"

3- Steak, sausage, ect

Sub Question 1:

1- Balance the plate "salad, potato, sauce, veggies meat

2- Meat, meat, meat...!!!!!

Sub Question 2 "preference"

- Red Wine

- White Wine

- Beer

--------------------------

Now personally "although I'd take on any variation,
my preference would likely be ........... 2-1-3

your turn

If someone with knowledge would be constructing the dinner( ie not me ), I would say 1-1-2.

However, if I would do it would definitely be 3-1-3.

Good seafood>all

Usually have two BBQ's running - Start with Very Large Tiger Prawns with Garlic butter basted on. On the smaller BBQ we do Burgers & sausages for the little pests. Then when the Prawns are done Steaks, Lamb and fish for the adults. Small BBQ used for Corn on the Cob.

Beer for the men, wine for the ladies.

Question, what is this "salad" you mention?

I've never had anything from a Weber grill that wasn't cooked to perfection! My mum even made ice cream in it, and I am not kidding :D

Oh and on topic: I can't decide on meat as it can all be god tier! But as for sub-questions I'd take 1-3 any day

Any form of meat. Sides are great but i9 can do without. Whatever beer deals are on (bar carling, fosters, carlsberg for me) and loads of weed to smoke.

Share your BBQ marinade recipe ?
mine ?

Very simple

Oil "Rapeseed or Olive"
a good red Paprika "smoked if you can get it"
brown sugar
Ketchup
Soja
a good Balsamico
Grated Ginger
Salt
freshly grinded pepper
freshly grinded coriander
chopped Garlic
chopped chilli
Splash of Cognac or Whisky

Now Importantly!
Dont over do any one spice, but especially not the chilli or garlic, or the smoked paprika

The base of it should be,
Oil, ketchup & soja the rest is down to taste

Looks remarkebly like my main BBQ/Broiler except mine has a chimney on the right side and air vents at each end. Oil Drum BBQ's are great though. Can get them made here in Dubai for about 40 GBP.

They cook amazingly well, did the Xmas turkey in around 90 mins and it tasted amazing.
