I actually got the name Dukat from the first Babylon 5 film.

back when i were a wee lad, i used the name mankind because i liked wwf at the time. people started to shorten it to mank and it stuck. i've got usernames from mankatron2001 to mankatron2006.

use a variety of names online, i've had wow chars called malkmus (as in stephen malkmus of pavement), morrissey, jehst, mystro. all music related because i'm unoriginal.

i used the name jynueythek for a while because it was quite unique and annoyingly difficult to spell.

My original online nick was ItchyTrigaFinga, which is a partial lift from Human Traffic. I shortened it to Itchy, and then got fucked off with the whole nick thing and just became Will.

I used to call myself Itchy Trigger when playing CS - and I managed to register with BW just before Will. He then got confused wth there being 2 Itchy's so he changed to Rev. Wil (if I recall) ... I changed to Itcheh and have remained so ever since because I am teh winn0r

Big G - I wanted to be "Gaz" because a) it's the short version of my real name b) it was my QW nickname for a good while - however it was already taken so I opted for the nickname my girlfriend and her family call me. I also wanted a change from Gaz, so Big G seemed to fit.

Silver Surfer was one of my favourites and used Norin Radd online extensively......until I arrived at BW and some other feckwit had already used it.

in a moment of incredulous ingenuity i plumped for Lazarus and it stuck (still fancied the Norin Radd nick, but most folk know me as Laz.

Alliandre's the name of a queen from the Wheel of Time series. I chose it for a character I made in a game a while back, and it followed through into DAoC, which is how I found out about these boards.

I tend to use my real life name, or Wood for most stuff now. Wood came about from me being called Robert, shortened to Rob, changed into Robin Hood, in his forest, sort of like a wood, or something..
