Weapon / shield stuns aren't affected by determination as they have no assigned "damage type" (eg body / cold etc).

dunno what the fuss is about with zerkers being nerfed, so what if df has been nerfed, even as a ShadowZerker at lvl 28 i can skill out dmg tanks that are the same lvl as me, using a crappy combo, although i am using 98% qual cleavers :p, besides ive seen how much dmg a zerker can do, they can skill kill most rogues in 2-3 hits which is more than enough. if they did it one, they might aswell be called ZerkBlades.

well, early ages is zerk one most strong and most damage sharing char.
somewhere mid 30, close 40 things start change.
same time hib/alb melees get new and more powerfull skills, zerk are stamping same spot in ground.
if you look classes of camelot (webpage), there styles what get whit different weapons when rise in lvl:s, mid dont have any high damage style, instead albs/hibs melee get one.

zerks stun style launch when opponent parry! and parry axe hand :) and are second in chain...
doublefrost, eat end like.... now lvl46 dont use against mobs because fast run out endurance -> crap damage whit 1h axes,
example scavs in spind, 2x50-80dmg per axe=~120dmg
usual if this happend switch to 2h axe and go over 200dmg


well armsmann uber "when someone use style against you" style, dont even bother speak about that.
hib/albs higher damage whit 2h weapons against our 2h weapons, ~30% more damage what we mids do!

Actually I communicated something to Dave yesterday that I am waiting on a reply for...

With misses while frenzying counted it .. we are perhaps doing 35-40% more damage with Frenzy. At low levels the amount of defense we give up is negligible. However, at higher levels that 35%-40% more damage stays the same (ish, since there is an increase in to hit), while our defense losses become larger... 15% evade and perhaps up to max 30% Parry, but usually at least 15%. That's 45% to 30% reduction in defense - effectively making the skill iffy at best.

Anyway.. waiting for a reply...

Stop hijacking my informational , non-whine thread (i really meant it well this time) :)

the only decent pure melee-heavy hitting-melee realm class' style gets nerfed to hell and back and armsmen get "if your oppenent does a style on you , shove your pole so deep up his/her ass you can roast the sucker over a campfire with your friends" Defender's rage

killing rogues will be or maybe has turned into a myth now

whereas we could rather easily take out infils they now have dodger x and dragonfang and doublefrost does less damage.
we use two axes , which doubles the chance to evade making us easy targets. add the new armor table in a followin patch and you can forget it 100%

minstrels, we do shit damage on chain, but determination gives a fairer chance , even tho ip/sos will save them easily, determination might help us a bit

scouts : havent ran into a scout lately but usually i came down to - he fumbles, i kill him, he doesnt , i drop dead at his feet. A smart scout has slam ready so your defenseless again

nightshade, no experiences yet

bards, as long as they dont have instamezz bards are a rather easy target dropping rahter fast, problem is they never run alone

ranger , see scout except the slam remark.

The problem is that you can't see you levelled a gimp until upper 40ies. soloing yellows is a real problem (dodger helps alot) , and targets in rvr are rather limited, especially since you do need to get close to actually hit someone. Up to 30-35 zerks are really good in pve, but it only gets worse

The only thing I find quite funny is your comment on that infiltrators(guess this means all infs) have dragonfang and dodger now.

Guess you run into jadow(only infiltrator with dragonfang on the server that I am aware of) lots.

i haven't ran into Jadow since the patch and i didnt mean that all infils have it. I was just giving reasons why berserkers have huge trouble killing infils (imho an infil not taking dodger is a maroon)

Its not just Berzerkers that have trouble killing, ive got a level 48 Blademaster.... i cant kill anything or if i do, i'm lucky. it maybe im just crap at rvr or ive specced him wrong but if i see a troll with a big axe or a armsman with a large toothpick in his hand .... i wont try to fight him.... i'll leg it. The only thing blademasters are good for is hitting healers and casters and you only get one hit in because of fecking insta mezz/stun. RVR sucks thats why ive retired my lvl48 blademaster and seriously thinking about leaving daoc altogether.

ever wondered why mythic are nerfing this char and nerfing that char becuase they feel they are over powered

if you work as a team which is kinda the whole point of a MMPORPG notice the MMP Massive multiplayer.

it is not a solofest but you are supposed towork together.

still minstrels rock (especially with pets) (you wouldn't even get to hit the minstrel :D )
