Uh.
Um.
Uh.
Our deficit this year will be bigger than that of Greece.
Under what definition can that ever be considered fine?
Total deficit is a bullshit number, it's it's proportion of GDP which is important, were somewhere around 60% these days Greece is more than twice that figure hence the problems. Incidently Germany is much worse than us, only their economy is actually growing at a faster rate so they are looking better in the short term. The UK is decidedly above average, a bit of growth over the next 10 years and no major increases in spending and we'll be laughing again.
If you want to see scary figures you should look at the Japanese defecit levels.
